I have inspected your store and here’s my report:

Your store looks really great, you did really well on the visuals of the store. I like the homepage and the flow. Furthermore, I visited the products and found that their descriptions are either senseless or not unique. 

According to Google, if your products have common or short descriptions your products will not rank high in the search rating sometimes they don’t even show up in the search results. 

Also about your product titles, they look very simple i.e. just the product name but a good product title should have all the essential qualities of the product in the title. And also they help in improving the overall SEO of your store. Take Amazon’s product titles for example they are informative and always show up on top in search results.

Lastly, I would like to talk about your store’s On-Page SEO rating which is really bad. If you wish to make your store more visible and reachable you should have a high SEO rating. Your SEO rating is a combined rating of how well your store will perform in search results higher the score higher the chances of being on the top result. You can improve it by making your Titles and Product description SEO optimized. Other than your product title and descriptions, the most important factor which affects your SEO rating is Meta Description, it's really important and most of the stores don't pay enough attention to it and then complain about the less traffic and conversions. 

Meta description and SEO rating vastly impact your store visibility on google and other possible interaction places. The meta description plays an important role in attracting the right kind of traffic ultimately resulting in better conversions.

I’d really suggest you try Descrii, they provide titles, descriptions, and meta descriptions for your products that’ll help your website to climb high in search rankings and ultimately gain more traffic and conversion.

I would love to provide some feedback. You have a really great store that looks fantastic. There are a few things I’ve found though.

First up, we have to talk about the pop-up. 

  1. It’s triggered to display too quickly. If someone lands on your site for the first time, remember that they are new to your brand. You need to give them time to see what you have to offer. If you can trigger the pop-up to display once someone has engaged with a product, that’s even better.
  2. You’re asking for way too much information. The phone number is going to scare people away. You’re going to struggle to get people to give you their email address; asking for their phone number is just too much. 
  3. What are they subscribing to? What will they get? What can they expect? Again, remember that your visitors aren’t sure if they want to buy from you, and they also won’t necessarily be ready to dedicate their email space to you either. 

Next, here are some things I found while looking at your site:

  • Link your announcement bar to your Shop All collection
  • For your main navigation, where are your visitors clicking? Use click heatmaps, which show you where people click, to see which collections are getting most traction. Session recordings would also help here. I would encourage you to focus on those collections that are getting the most clicks to reduce the number to just five or six instead of eight. It will help get your main navigation on one line.
  • Run a poll asking your visitors for their top value in buying cosmetics. I see you’ve mentioned cruelty-free and vegan, but those values are sprinkled in. If those are the main selling points for your visitors, you may want to shift the marketing focus. 
  • For your Shop All collection, I would suggest providing a way to filter by collection instead. I like that you have a filter for color, but I would go one step further. Because you do have products that aren’t color-related (i.e., the palette), it would give visitors a chance to find their products faster. 
  • On the product pages themselves, I like that you have combined colors. For visitors, it will be easier to go between the colors. My only suggestion is to mention shipping information and use a  jump link to anchor it to the shipping information lower on the page. The fact you have

I'm a copywriter, and so I'll leave the tech stuff but give you some pointers on copy: hope that's helpful!

First up: awesome site! Well done.

Is there any way to get the: 'Cruelty-free & vegan cosmetics' looking bolder? I think it's potentially a great selling point, but for me its looking a lil' fuzzy and it's distracting that it's harder to read than the 'Shop Now' button.

I think adding product descriptions could be helpful for you. You have bold, beautiful products and I think it would be easy to write great copy that has people excited by new shades/a new palette etc. It'll also help your SEO!

I'd love an about page: Who are you? Why do you love cosmetics so much? It doesn't have to be massively personal, but I think it could be a great way to show your passion and dedication to both your business and industry.

Add testimonials if/when you have them - people always love to see other happy customers.

The items on your store are something that will most likely be purchased by one person several times. For better customer retention I recommend using Rewards program by Growave, that will give out various discounts depending on how much a person has spent on your store or how many actions he/she has completed (left a review, shared the site, created an account, etc.)

The items in your store are something that every person will need in their lives. Therefore, I recommend using a Referral program by Growave to give your customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and getting rewarded for that. 

Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.

Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.

90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.

Homepage designs guides your visitors around your website. To engage visitors you need to work on homepage layout design.  Include trust indicators on the homepage. Homepage content should be strategically decided.

Your google page speed score is only 58 and mobile speed 16. Low mobile page speed may kill your traffic and affect your conversation. For greater success and to deliver a great user experience you should focus on mobile score as well. Website performance impacts ranking on organic search and user experience. This problem can reduce conversions and sales. 79% of people do not wait for more than 5.3 seconds for page loading. It can lead to the losing of new visitors, less traffic, and losing repeat customers. You should always work on your CRO - increasing the percentage of users who perform a desired action on your website.
