Feedback for your online store from the community
Hey everyone, i would appreciate some feedback on my store. Im very new to e-commerce and anything regarding selling products through the Internet. I've ran ads in tiktok as a little test to see if my store is any good since i dont really know what to do specifically to increase my websites sales. I've had 214 visitors and have sold 0 products so far. I would really appreciate any feedback regarding my store so feel free to share your thoughts. Here's the link to my store https://glamifyglob.myshopify.com/. Thank you!
Hi @Lahon !
To be honest, the overall look of your store looks great though, I just noticed that your products are not properly grouped together. It would be best if you have category sections for your products so customers can easily check the products that they are looking for. For example, create category for make-up products, hair products, and so on. I also noticed that you do not have any store policies such as, return and refund policy, Shipping policy and also anything about your store. It would be great to add those sections as well. Hi @Lahon ,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Customer Support and Helpdesk Solution for your Start-up
Congratulations on your new store! I can see it is well-designed and has quite enough of essential details. While it's already great, I do have some suggestions to help make it even better. Here are a few of my recommendations for an increasing sales, if you don't mind taking a look.
If you have categories readily available in the navigation bar, your visitors can find what they're interested in much faster, which leads to a more satisfying experience on your site.
For example, you can divide you products into groups like: Cosmetics, Beauty accessories, etc. Take a look at this instance:
As a matter of fact, color plays a big role in the buying decision. I also suggest providing a preview of the color swatch being hovered.
Let’s see this example:
Don't overlook the importance of customer support in scaling your revenue. Being available whenever customers need you the most can help build trust and increase conversion. You can add a help widget to the bottom right corner of your website!
I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a free support, FAQ & Helpdesk App. MooseDesk provides auto-reply features during non-business hours, a proactive help center, and a user-friendly widget layout, offering an effective solution to enhance customer support on your platform.
So those are some of my suggestions for your store as an UX expert. If this is helpful for you, please let me know by giving me a 'LIKE'. If your question is answered please mark this as 'SOLUTION’.

Hi @Lahon,
I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.
I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on both user experience and SEO. Here are my recommendations:
Firstly, I suggest focusing on improving your SEO to attract organic traffic to your website. A lack of traffic is certainly the reason why you haven't made any sales yet. For an average small e-commerce store, you should get at least 1000 visitors per month to start having stable source for sales.
Here are some basic elements you should check:
Title Tags & Meta Descriptions:
Content:
You can also check this SEO checklist by Shopify to learn more about optimizing your e-commerce store and blog. This will boost your online presence and bring more traffic to your website.
Besides, I also suggest at looking into content and UX/UI of your website
1. Domain name
Currently, you are using the default “ myshopify.com” subdomain. It may lower brand awareness among markets.
You must acquire a custom domain to maintain and strengthen your online presence.Using a domain that matches your brand can help you build trust in your online store.
2. Add Favicon logo
A favicon is a tiny logo that usually shows up in a browser tab. It is particularly crucial for new websites as it enhances user experience by helping visitors quickly recognize your site when they have several tabs open in their browser.
3. Adding Account sign in
An user account will enhance the engagement of visitors with your website.
Accounts empower users to access exclusive offers, contribute to a community of fellow customers, reach out to customer support, and receive content recommendations relevant to them.
You can see all the reference below having sign in icon on the website:
4. Add more section on the navigation bar
To make the navigation bar more informative, you should add several sections:
4.1. About Us page
An About Us page is a section on a website that provides information about a company, organization, or individual. It’s an opportunity to tell your brand’s story, share your vision, introduce team members, and outline your history, values, and achievements. This is where you build trust and credibility with customers.
Here is a reference:
4.2. Support section
I checked and found it hard to find return/refund/shipping policies on your site and this may cause hesitation to purchase.
You should add a support section (any refund, shipment, and return policies) to the navigation bar - an easy to spot position to enhance customer trust and address purchasing hesitation.
4.3. Category menu
You should create the category menu on the navigation bar. It effectively provides your customers what you offer/ what you sell more quickly. The category menu helps your customers find the products they want more quickly, enhancing shopping experience and attracts customers to stay on the site longer. Please find the reference below:
5.Homepage
5.1.Banner
The banner is too general and doesn't catch attention. You should add seasonal banners for current promotions or collections (e.g., Summer Sale, Winter Collection).
Here is the reference:
5.2. New arrival
6. Adding FAQs page and chat box
You can add an FAQs section and chat box to address common customer concerns.
Here is the reference:
7. Search feature
You should enhance the search by making larger product images. Include category search, collection search, etc functionality for better content discovery.
Here is a reference
8. Product details page
8.1. Lack of review section
Review will provide customers more information about the product. It will enhance trust and provide more information regarding the product. Please see the reference:
vs
8.2. Adding more sections to introduce the product.
You can add Recommendation, Best seller, etc below the the page to attract your customers like the reference below:
9. Cart page and check out page
Display recommendations or promotional sections on both pages to effectively promote products and attract customers to buy more.
I hope my recommendation will help you. Feel free to reply for a more detailed analysis on any specific area, or if there are any challenges you have.
Good luck!
