Feedback on my store ( Traffic but no sales )

Please can someone with more experience in eCommerce give me some feedback on my store>

I opened my online store on 23rd of March and since then I am doing Facebook ad, over the time now I have minimum of 140 sessions daily now on my store but no sales so far.   And I don't know

what to improve to give visitors more interest to see the products and other pages.

I just had look into your website, It's looking good. I observed few points on your website.

-> The length between lines/paragraph high at product description, Check it.
-> You can improve your Testimonials. Testimonials take the spotlight away from the seller, and shine it on the customer. Adding client testimonials to your website can be an extremely effective way to establish trust and strengthen your company's reputation. They are extremely powerful tools when it comes to strengthening your branding.
-> You can Add blog page, Blog initially used to provide a unique way for people to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and opinions and It is a huge opportunity to increase your company's visibility.
-> You can add the item reviews under product page, Item reviews can help give customers that additional propel they have to confide in your online shop and finish their buy. I would suggest including item reviews too, as reviews for customers to share their positive experience thus different customers can see the reviews and be influenced to purchase.

First off, congrats on your store! This is a beautiful site. Well done. 

Ad Side:

I would strongly consider evaluating your traffic sources (Facebook) and strategy there as it may be a main culprit to the lack of conversions. 

Would also consider trying Google Product Listing Ads if you are able to.

You are selling high cost products which without a proper social advertising strategy can be quite difficult.


Onto your site:

If you want to also look at your website I would recommend A/B testing different approaches to your product pages.

Product pages are some of your most important aspects of an eCommerce store. 

One test you could run would be your product descriptions. For example, this product has an ellipsis at the end of the top description. There is also nothing that catches my attention in that description. It is a giant wall of text. You could run a product test on that section alone to have one as your control and another with less copy in that section with potentially some power/trust icons.

Hey there, @Nishangrg
You’re in a tough place. You want to generate more sales but you don’t know where to start. The good news is that most of your hard work is already done! Now it’s time to use visitor behavior to drive sales. 

Starting at the beginning - I would put the value (get 10% off your first order) first rather than last. If visitors don’t know if they want to buy from you, they don’t know why they should care about your updates, new arrivals, etc. Also, update the “new to website?” Text. It’s should say, “New to Yuniq Trades?”

I suggest adjusting the settings for triggering. I know it has the option of “No, thanks” to opt out of seeing it again. Instead of having it trigger until a visitor clicks on that checkbox, have it trigger only once when someone engages with your store. By giving them the option to either opt-out or see the same pop-up on every page, you’re either going to lose the chance to win back a guest who returns OR you’re going to annoy them to the point of leaving. 



I’ll be honest with you - I’m confused by your site. What do you sell? For the first 5 minutes I was on your page, I was pretty sure I knew you sold furniture. However, the more I click around, the more I see everything else under the sun. I would highly suggest narrowing your niche to be more specific. 

For example, you have categories for air conditioners and heaters, furniture, toys, photography, etc. Dial it back to be very focused on being an expert in that niche. 


  • Hero image: Simplify. Everything is very complex. Limit your hero image to one rather than multiple. Make sure the text is clear and it highlights your products. Include a CTA. Use a click heatmap, which shows you which hero image is performing best. 
  • Announcement bar: Again, too complicated. Visitors don’t care what the sale is; they only care that it’s a sale. Link it to your product pages.
  • Main navigation: Do a little rearranging. Leave About Us and FAQ in your footer. You may want to test changing your collections with nested subcategories. For example, Furniture could include bathroom, bedroom, and outdoor furniture. It may simplify your collections. 
  • Homepage: Move the collections below your hero image; the featured products element likely won’t have the same punch as clicking into your collections. Use a heatmap to see how far people scroll and where they click.
  • Contact us page: Add in your email address and remove the phone number field. It’s unnecessary for the away form.
  • Policy pages: Make sure all of your email address mentions (i.e., Terms of Service) are linked. Make it easy to read - your Shipping policy is hard to read due to the small text and excessive bolding. It also is missing something as important as price estimates. Don’t leave that to the checkout. 
  • Return policy: Your return policy doesn’t match the return policy you have on product pages.
  • Footer: Add more value to your newsletter form. Again, you want to convince visitors that they do want to get your newsletter! Re-order your Customer Service list. I would change it to: Contact us, Shipping policy, Refund policy, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service. Unless Search in the footer is getting a lot of clicks, I would leave it out. 
  • Collection pages: Keep your images consistent, and I remove the option to Add to Cart from your collection pages unless you have many people using it. Use session recordings, which show you what happened during a visitor, to see how people are moving around your store. I would highly suggest (again) to simplify your collections. You have 20+ collections - that’s just too many. 
  • Your “Recently Purchased” pop-up: This isn’t working for me. Use a click heatmap to see if it’s successful with your visitors, but it may just be more annoying than it is helpful. It becomes a distraction rather than something to make me interested in clicking on it. There’s also an error with it that would make me think it was fake if I were a visitor.

    Now let’s look at the product pages. This is where I think you could make the most band for your buck. For reference, I’m on the Gardeon Portable Wooden Garden Storage Cabinet page.

  • Remove the product code and availability. 
  • Add in something about shipping. Your price is competitive, but what is shipping? If it costs $50 to ship, suddenly it’s not as competitive. 
  • There’s some grammar errors. You can tell that you copied and pasted. There’s an ellipse (...) by the description that makes it look like an error. 
  • The formatting for the description is off. Adjust the font size (it’s way too small) 
  • Where’s the ability to add or look at reviews?
  • Instead of leading someone to “Ask an expert” by sending a message, add in live chat. It will let you answer their questions while they are still on your site. 

For your visitors in particular, I would suggest:

  • Run a poll to see why they didn’t check out. Was it unclear shipping? Pricing? A return policy? Were they just doing research?
  • Segment your heatmap and session recordings by source or UTM parameter (if you use them in your ads) to isolate just your ad traffic. You may have an issue with your ads featuring one product but leading to your homepage (frustrated visitors). Or you may have an issue with your audience not being interested in your products (wrong audience). Or you may have an issue with people being confused about what you’re really selling (trust issues). 

To be clear, you’ve put in a lot of hard work, and it shows. When you use visitor behavior to drive your changes, you can get to the bottom of conversion issues and start generating more sales.
