Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello, I am the owner of Nalisaespecialtess.com on Shopify and I would like some general feedback about my site. I am also in the process of trying to get in contact with customer support so I can further talk to someone. My store is currently not operating due to the fact that I need to fix something in the payment section, It says there is an error but I have yet to hear back from anyone who can help me. I also want to rebrand my business once I can get this small error fixed.

Hi @alrolle
Thanks for sharing! and Congratulations on your store - I browsed through your store and I like how easy it is to use, you have done a good job in making the store very easy to use. The product images are really good and show the quality of your items.
I do have some suggestions that can improve the customer experience;
1. Make your header sticky; using a sticky header greatly improves your store navigation and makes it easier for your customers to navigate your store even when they are down the page. Now if a user scrolls down, they lose access to the header and will need to scroll back up to navigate your store.
2. Engage with your customers and visitors - I will suggest adding a Live chat, you want to reach out to your visitors and show that you're ready to answer any question they might have. If you added a Live chat that launched after 60 seconds of someone landing on your store that asks, “How can I help you today?”. The idea here is to engage and show your visitors that you're available to answer their questions.
3. Use color or variant swatches to display product variants: This makes it easier for your customers to see all the available variants and also improves the aesthetics of the page. You can display color swatches on the product page, collection page, and homepage.
Here is an example of a variant swatchs on a collection page;
Instead of having just this - you can use color or variant swatches to display your product options
4. Show Estimated Delivery Date and Shipping Date - Many customers don’t want to wait until checkout to know when they’ll receive their order, and showing the Estimated Delivery Date helps users to estimate when they can expect to receive their order. Add the delivery-date estimate, or delivery-date range, within the product page, it should be close to your "buy" button. For example; “Standard Shipping — 3 business days. Get it by Oct 30”.
5. Just to improve the aesthetics of the product page, you can use custom icons here to list out the product specifications
6. Customize your checkout page. It might not seem like it is necessary but you want your customers to interact with your brand throughout their buying journey. From homepage to checkout - they should have the same experience and feel. It is a throw-off getting to the checkout of most stores and it is totally different from the rest of the page. I will suggest updating your logo and fonts to match the ones in your store.
Cheers!
No I don't, I am new to Shopify and I am still learning. I do have someone helping me rebrand my business. Is there a specific person I need to be working with in order to correct these issues

Hello @alrolle
Hope you are doing well! Your shop looks very neat and organized. Good job is done there. The theme matches your products very well.
Here are some areas where you could consider working on
A good idea is to have your newsletter as a popup so that it shows up when the customer enters the home page. This will make it more visible and attract more people to your newsletter from where you can target more interested people.
Add a sticky header. The headings are important to navigate the site. If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky, the user can see them even if they have scrolled down, which makes the site more user friendly.
You can also consider making your headings a bit bigger or bolder, so that they catch the eye more easily.
People tend to buy more from people they can easily relate to. If you share your journey, your goals, and your aspirations with your customers, it will be easier for people to connect with you. If you can create an emotional connection with your visitors, people are sure to buy products from you.
It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types
Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product.
It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.
People always don’t know everything about a product beforehand. When they see a product or show interest in a product, they want to know more about the different aspects and specifications of the product. If product descriptions fail to provide people with enough information about the product and fail to create an appeal for the product, the visitors won’t buy the product. So, provide elaborate and appealing product descriptions to every product to increase your sales.
Use a star rating widget to let website visitors evaluate your business. They create standardization, allowing customers to compare different products easily. It also helps you get feedback about your products.
You will be surprised how much you can benefit from a chatbot. It can collect your necessary customer data, help you analyze which stuffs are trending or in more demand, and overall solve your problems by answering common questions so you won't have to.
Customers read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. If they find that 50 other people have liked your product and have purchased from you, it helps your credibility and they feel safer buying from you. So try to add some reviews of your products and services to your homepage.
Hope this helps you. If you find it useful, leave a like to let me know! Happy Selling! Thank you and the Very Best of Luck to you!
