Hi @Jared319

It's PageFly - Best Page Builder App here and I'd like to share some of my initial thoughts when first browsing through your online store. I hope that my recommendations based on 6 years of providing solutions for more than 100.000 merchants can be beneficial to you in improving your store’s performance.

We did take a deep look into your store. I like that you:

  • Use high-quality images
  • Have secondary hover images

Besides these things, I have some comments and suggestions for you:

Have an announcement bar

Basically, the announcement bar will announce the information about shipping and discount or any promotion campaign of a store. It should look something like this:

1. Homepage

1.1. Make the menu sticky

  • A sticky menu header helps customers to reach out to the menu and access the menu anytime they want.
  • A sticky navigation bar will help customers navigate themselves from every part of the homepage to any page of your store more conveniently.

1.2. Be clear and creative with the banner

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.

With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action on the most. It can redirect to a collection page or a product page, etc. My advice is that you invest more in creating your banner, and make it more attractive since that’s the first thing your visitors see when they enter your site. You can take a look at a few banners below.

1.2. Showcase your best products

You should feature a product list on your homepage, where you can show your best-selling products or new arrivals, etc, something that will pique your customers’ interest. This can help you increase your conversion rate. It should look something like this:

1.3. Add testimonial - customer reviews

  • Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
  • Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product reviews to the page in easy ways

Moreover, you can check this guide to pick the best reviews app for your store!

1.4. Be creative with your sign-up form

Having a sign-up form on your site, your customers can subscribe to your newsletter to receive product information, any sales campaign, etc from your store. Make use of your sign-up form and be more creative with it, like adding a background image. You can take a look at the image below for an example:

PageFly_6-1663811502896.png

PageFly integrates with Klaviyo, Omnisend, and MailChimp, they are great apps to customize forms for your page.

1.5. Add more information in the Footer

The footer is usually where you feature your Shipping Policy, Return Policy, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and more. While not many customers pay much attention to the footer, having no information in the footer might make your visitors question your credibility hence affecting your conversion rate.

I take this site as an example of a good footer: https://bogrendigital.com/

2. Collection page

2.1. Add an awesome filter on the collection page

  • Create specific filters for the most popular categories. Don’t just rely on simple filters like price or date. You should think of what people really want to differentiate between various items.
  • Put the most important filters at the top. The list of filters doesn’t have to be in alphabetical order. Sometimes certain product filters are highly important to the user.

Plus, Google monitors how quickly and easily your customers move around your site. It also takes filters into consideration, since filters serve as a map for those customers. Since bounce and abandonment rates usually decrease with filters, Google will most likely notice this, meaning your SEO ranking can jump.

2.2. Add average ratings for each product

You should include both the user rating average and the number of ratings on the product list items. This is one of the crucial elements of users’ purchasing decisions. They will rely on both to decide whether they should explore a product further. You can take this image below as an example.

3. Product page

3.1. Use swatches as the selector for Color variations

Instead of a label color selector, you can consider using color swatches to improve your user experience and hence better your conversion rate.

PageFly_11-1663811507088.png

It should look something like the image below:

3.2. Subdivide long product descriptions into Sections and Headings

  • Long, unbroken blocks of texts or many bullet list items will cause difficulty for users to extract and scan product information. Long product descriptions which were broken up by headings will greatly help users pinpoint relevant information more quickly, and also ignore information that was irrelevant to their purchasing decision.
  • Adding subsection headings helps users easily navigate long lists of bullet points as well as blocks of text. Besides, it also enables users to find relevant information slightly quicker compared to a bullet list without headings of similar length.

PageFly_13-1663811508413.png

3.3. Display or Link to a Return policy from the main Product page content

Making the Return policy visible in the main Product Page content, especially the “Buy section” will help minimize users’ purchase anxiety. Featuring a link in or near the “Buy” section can be a motivating factor when users are considering whether they should make a purchase or not.

PageFly_14-1663811507372.png

3.4. Display a minimum of 6 reviews by default and allow users to submit reviews

Usually, users often rely on reviews to judge a product besides product detail descriptions and other info given by a site since they consider them more legit and authentic. I would recommend you display reviews on your product page (a minimum of 6 reviews) with the ability to “Load more” and allow users to submit their reviews.

PageFly_15-1663811503466.png

3.5. Provide a list of “Recently viewed” on Product pages

You should make the most use of product pages by recommending other products that your customers might be interested in to increase your conversion rate. Also, you should provide a history-based recently viewed items list for all users (including those who aren’t signed in) and consider allowing users to edit it.

PageFly_16-1663811508496.png

You can try Wiser or LimeSpot to create this section. This guide on Conversion Rate Optimization can be helpful for you too.

PageFly, Free Page Builder helps you build a high-converting store with flexibility and confidence without headaches. Hello, I have had a look at your store and here are a few suggestions on how it could be improved

1) There should be customer reviews on the homepage. This would help raise the level of trust that customers have in your store.

2) There should be sections for best sellers and the latest arrivals on the homepage. This would make it easier for customers to find certain products that’ll likely catch their fancy.
3) You should show customers what others are doing in your store. This would help give them that extra push to carry out actions of their own in the store and this will likely lead to an increase in sales in the store. You can do this by downloading the Show Recent Orders App here https://apps.shopify.com/show-recent-orders

I wish you and your business the best of luck!
