We are a local flower shop in Los Angeles, located on Hollywood. Would love some feedback, how can I make the site more trustworthy, appealing, and converting. Currently focused on mobile views more than desktop. Because our traffic is 90% mobile.

Hi JordanGabe,

This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App

I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase your conversion rate:

1. Shipping information. Do you only ship locally? (It seems that way in your cart) Is your shipping free or do you charge more? I think this info would be helpful to see on the homepage before consumers make any purchases.

2. You are a local business in LA and has an online store. Do you only target those in LA as well online? Or are your online sales targeted to a wider audience? If you are only targeting locals, make sure your ads are limited to local areas as well. Also it would be good to give out a small discount card regarding your online store every time someone makes a purchase in your physical store.

3. Finally you might want to understand where your most effective referral channels are. I would recommend installing a post-purchase survey in your Shopify store and checking to see where your customers are coming from, then focus budget on that channel more. Also you can ask questions like, for whom are you buying the flowers for? Once you understand the most popular purchase intent, you can also modify your ads to target the right audiences.

Hope this helps!

Hope this helps!

The Ultimate 12 Best Practices to Growing Your Shopify Store

Hi @JordanGabe

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder app.

You're doing a great job with your store. I noticed the clear layout, high-quality images, and easy navigation during my visit.

Drawing from my extensive knowledge in eCommerce development and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), I'd like to offer a few suggestions to enhance your conversion rates and achieve your first sale:

HOMEPAGE

1. Add benefits bar

You can capture a new audience's attention by establishing brand authority and highlighting the benefits of your products. By showing these benefits, you might increase customer satisfaction and positive feelings to buy from you. For example:

2. Adhere to the design hierarchy

Implementing a clear typographic and color hierarchy enhances readability, allowing visitors to easily locate essential information. Please pay attention to text size and formatting consistency across headings.

Moreover, for a flower shop, you should use bright colors instead of black

You can consider these palettes

3. Make your hero banner more appealing and attractive

PageFlyKate_5-1719385029143.png

The hero banner is pivotal for capturing customer attention immediately. It sets the tone and establishes your brand identity. Include:

- Engaging Visuals: Use engaging images or videos that clearly depict your product's applications, especially highlighting its suitability for DIY, construction, etc.

- Prominent Call-to-Action (CTA): Position a clear CTA, like a 'Shop Now' button or a special offer, prominently within the hero banner. Ensure the CTA message is concise and not duplicated within this section and well aligned.

For example:

Hope my opinions can help you in your journey.

Best regards,

Kate | PageFly

Hi @JordanGabe,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Customer Support and Helpdesk Solution for your Start-up

Congratulations on your new store! I can see it is well-designed and has quite enough of essential details. While it's already great, I do have some recommendations to make it even better. Take a look!

1. Header section

  • Make the logo smaller: Your current logo is too big, which may cause inconvenience to web visitors and they may eventually leave your web before purchasing anything.
  • Freeze the header: After resizing the logo, your header bar should also be smaller. Now make it sticky so that wherever customers scroll, it follows. This allows them to engage more with your website

2. Hero section

  • Heading & sub-heading content: It should be your brand’s slogan or key message that highlights your unique selling proposition. Try to come up with a short yet impressive slogan to make sure customers will remember your brand.
  • CTA button: I suggest moving it to the middle of the section to attract more attention! An outstanding CTA button can drive your customers to product/ about page, making them stay longer on your site.

Here’s a great example of the hero section

3. Product page

  • Add a secondary hover image: Displaying a secondary image can provide additional visual details of the product, thus enhancing the overall browsing experience.

  • Add more product images: Lack of an image that displays the product in context or next to other products will make it very difficult for users to easily get an precise impression of the product’s size.

3 types of product images that should always be included for most products:

  • Images that show products “In Scale”
  • Images that highlight a product’s features: Feature Callout images (highlight specific components/characteristics of a product that users will find valuable; use cases)
  • 3-5 Images that show products from at least a few different angles

Hi @JordanGabe To improve the trustworthiness, appeal, and conversion rate of your Shopify store, here are some recommendations:

1. Homepage Design:

Ensure your hero section has high-quality images of your best-selling flowers and a clear call-to-action (CTA) button like "Shop Now" or "Order Today." Add trust badges such as "100% Fresh Flowers," "Same-Day Delivery," and "Satisfaction Guaranteed" prominently on the homepage.

2. Navigation:

Ensure your mobile navigation is straightforward with easy access to categories like "Bouquets," "Occasions," "Shop by Price," and "About Us." Implement a prominent search bar that is easy to use on mobile devices.

3. Product Pages:

Use multiple high-resolution images for each product, showcasing the flowers from different angles. Provide detailed descriptions, including size, flower types, care instructions, and delivery options. Feature customer reviews and ratings to build trust.

4. Mobile Optimization:

Ensure your site is fully responsive, with quick load times and easy navigation on mobile devices. Add a "Click-to-Call" button for immediate customer support, enhancing convenience for mobile users.

5. Checkout Process:

Simplify the checkout process to reduce cart abandonment. Use a one-page checkout if possible. Offer multiple payment options, including mobile payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Wallet.

6. Social Proof:

Integrate your Instagram feed showcasing beautiful flower arrangements and happy customers. Highlight testimonials from satisfied customers on the homepage and product pages.

7. Coupon Discount on Cart App:

The app displays all available discounts directly on the cart page, making it easy for customers to apply them without leaving the page. This reduces friction and enhances the shopping experience. Use the app to create tiered discount offers such as "Spend $50, get 10% off; Spend $100, get 15% off." This encourages customers to add more items to their cart to avail of higher discounts. Combine the app with exit-intent popups offering a discount if the customer is about to leave without completing the purchase. Provide personalized discount codes to specific customer segments, such as new visitors, returning customers, or those who have abandoned their carts in the past. The app integrates seamlessly with your store, ensuring that discount codes are easy to find and apply, improving the overall shopping experience.

By implementing these changes, you can make Charm Flower Studio more trustworthy, appealing, and effective at converting visitors into customers, especially on mobile devices. Would you like me to review specific pages or features on your site for more detailed feedback? If yes, feel free to reach out to us.

Regards,

Ina
