Hi Community Members,
I just launched a website a couple of months ago. I am running test TikTok for Business ads right now on my website to see if the product that I'm promoting is showing signs of converting. When I look in TikTok for Business it looks like people are clicking on the ads, but as soon as people get to the website then they go to the cart to pay and no sales are made. I think there are ~32 people who have add this product to their carts over the past 2 days, but just won't proceed past that point. Can anyone please give me a quick review of my website to see if there is something wrong with it by chance? Below is the Shopify store and the product I'm promoting is the boxing music trainer.

I was hoping some community SMEs can review my website for any issues that could be preventing it from converting.
Hi @markus2009
Based on your situation with traffic and add-to-cart activity but no completed sales on your Shopify store (http://www.gadgelabs.com), here are some tailored recommendations to help improve your conversion rates:
Enable guest checkout to remove barriers.
Minimize form fields and steps during checkout.
Clearly display shipping costs early or offer free shipping thresholds.
Use trusted payment options like Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay.
Add security badges (SSL, payment logos).
Display customer reviews and testimonials on product pages using apps like Judge.me or Loox.
Clearly state your return policy and estimated delivery times.
Use social proof such as Google Reviews widgets.
Highlight product benefits and features clearly.
Use high-quality images and videos demonstrating the boxing music trainer in use.
Add urgency with limited-time offers or stock alerts.
Be transparent about shipping and taxes upfront.
Consider offering free shipping or discounts for minimum order amounts.
Enable abandoned cart emails to remind customers to complete purchases.
Run remarketing ads targeting users who added to cart but didn’t buy.
Ensure your site loads quickly and is fully responsive on mobile devices.
I highly recommend installing the BiDeal Bundle Volume Discounts app to help increase your average order value and conversions. This app allows you to:
Create attractive product bundles and volume discounts easily without coding.
Display eye-catching discount progress bars and free shipping thresholds on product pages and cart.
Encourage customers to add more products with mix-and-match bundles and tiered discounts.
Seamlessly integrate with your Shopify theme and checkout flow without disruption.
Drive higher sales and customer loyalty by making discounts clear and motivating.
Many merchants have seen significant improvements in conversions and average order value after implementing BiDeal’s features.
Hi @markus2009,
Your store looks quite clean and professional, well done on the launch!
It’s great to hear that your TikTok ads are driving traffic and even cart additions — that’s a strong sign your product is interesting to your audience. However, the drop-off at checkout is definitely something worth optimizing.
One highly effective strategy I’d recommend implementing is upselling or quantity breaks, which can encourage customers to increase their cart value and complete the purchase. For that, you might want to try our app - Wizio Bundle - Quantity Breaks.
With Wizio, you can:
Hello @markus2009
I have spent some time reviewing your store's contents and examining the page details. Then I get some ideas to share with you for better promotion, you can check them I collected below and see if they are available or not.
1. You can consider adding an announcement bar on the top of the homepage, so that visitors or your customers can know the store activities or discounts immediately. It will also encourage users to stay longer.
2. When I try to search your product on Google, I notice your store URL is appearing in the search results. It will be better if you can change the store URL to store/brand name, as it will be good for your brand awareness establishment. You can make a consideration of this part to do further optimization.
3. I found out the URLs below that lack alt text content. If your potential customers would like to have a search on search engines like Google, Google will fail to get the exact information about images on your web pages, and it will result in the missing content. You can add the missing alt text contents from the Shopify admin page directly by accessing related product pages and then clicking images to add alt text directly. This is beneficial to have more conversion eventually after indexing by Google.

By further optimizing these contents I mention here, you shall have a better performance on the store, and visitors can know your store in a better way, I believe. Always optimize page contents regularly and keep them in good status, a kind reminder here. Thank you!
Hello there Markus @markus2009 My first suggestion in order to make your store and products more appealing for better conversion rates is to visualize it a bit better and you can do this by adding some high quality videos displaying the products to the product gallery.
The customer reviews on the homepage seem authentic and well written but they would be better presented if arranged differently and also if you attached pictures to the reviewers.
Lastly, the direct links to the social media pages of the business should be present at the bottom of the homepage.
@markus2009 FINALLY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A STORE!
I am so tired of seeing generic stores. First of all, kudos to you for putting in such great work. I mean... as a marketer with years of experience, Im telling you you're already way ahead of your competitors in landing page design.
Ignore the bot replies here lol but here is something that I think can be done!
The product you're selling... its $117... not everyone thinks its value for money... or maybeeee...they might not feel confident about it. What you need to do is put real customer images...UGC (user generated content) like embed insta or tiktok posts etc and that should be good social boost.
Secondly, right before you start yapping about product and right under the pricing... how about you embed a real video from youtube showcasing this product in real time? If you dont have one...ask any gym going friend to record a short one and edit it basic. This really pushes conversions by 82%.
Here is a tutorial on how to embed videos etc in your product page, product description and anywhere else on your store!
Hi @markus2009
Overall, the store looks really nice.
Just a few quick suggestions:
On mobile, the Add to Cart button is too far down. Since most of your traffic is from TikTok, this might hurt conversions. Try making it sticky or placing it higher.
I added a product to the cart and noticed you only ship to the US. This could be a dealbreaker — especially since you mentioned people are adding to cart but not checking out. Consider offering international shipping or at least showing a message early on.
Try adding things like a sticky add to cart, free shipping bar, countdown timer, or trust badges to build urgency and boost trust & AOV.
Hope this helps! Please feel free to DM me if you want to brainstorm more!

32 add to carts is not enough to know for sure. i would recommend to add more budget to test it out and also run other platform ads (google ads, fb ads, etc) you are running a business and need to really test out traffic and ads before any conclusions.
Let’s talk about the silent killer of your sales:
🛑 Only ~3% of your traffic converts. That means 97% leave without buying.
Most of us focus on ads, influencers, or discounts — but ignore the actual customer experience on our store. Here are some things that drive people away (and you might not even notice):
The good news? These are fixable.
There’s a tool called Scancx that scans your store like a mystery shopper and shows what might be pushing your visitors away.
🎯 Fix the trust issues → boost conversions.
If you’re wondering why sales aren’t matching your traffic, maybe it’s time to scan before you spend more on ads.
