I have had my shop running for about 2 weeks with just under 700 visitors however no add to carts or purchases.

I would greatly appreciate some feedback on my store and any insights to get some sales. I have been driving traffic through facebook and instagram ads.

Trust Badges: Trust badges your visitors know that your page is legitimate and that any data they share will be collected through secure third-party service providers. Your customers feel they can trust your website, And they are more likely to make a purchase.

Add Blog: You know creating/adding of blogs gives you a great way to generate fresh content on a website and provide a catalyst for email marketing, social media promotion to drive search traffic to your website.

Your store looks great! I can see all the hard work you have put into the store’s appearance. Here I want to add more details to help you make the store perfect and increase conversion rate:


1, Make sure that all texts are visible at first glance. For the header, you can use a semi-transparent background to make the text more visible, thus showing off your brand logo. You can also apply this to the button at the end of the banner.




2, Having a featured collection is a great idea! You can also consider having a featured product list on your home page to showcase your best-selling products.

I also recommend you to add a testimonials section on the page to make your store look more trustworthy.




3, Add Call-to-action button such as Shop Now, Add To Cart or View More button. This helps encourage customers to start purchasing as soon as they find their favorite products.




4, You can try using color swatch for Product Color Variants to keep it user-friendly and professional.

Here are my suggestion for you:

1. Use the live chat feature

Firstly, I think you should actively communicate with the site visitors to show your dedicated support and get more sales quickly. According to Shopify, "merchants that respond to a customer's chat within 5 minutes are 69% more likely to get a sale from the shopper." Therefore, live chat is an ideal communication channel between you and your potential customers. If you would like to integrate a chat box with your site visitors, please check out Tidio & Reamaze.

2. Make the CTA button bigger

I see that your CTA buttons are kind of small which might not be attractive enough to the site visitors. Therefore, I suggest that you should increase both the button sizes and the text sizes.

3. Re-arrange the homepage structure.

Personally I think you should re-arrange the homepage structure to make it become more logical. Specifically, you should place 'The lidle story' section at the top position below the header image. It helps the site visitors know about your business before looking through the product introduction.

4. Use the website recording tool

I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?

Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.

Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.

Here are some areas where you could consider working on

  • Add a sticky header. The headings are important to navigate the site. If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky, the user can see them even if they have scrolled down, which makes the site more user friendly.

    You can also consider making your headings a bit bigger or bolder, so that they catch the eye more easily.

  • It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types

    Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product. 

    It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.

  • Because this is an online store and people cannot touch and feel your products before buying them, they rely heavily on product images, which is why the images have to look top-notch.

    The main problem most Shopify store owners have is that they upload raw images of their products. On the website, this makes the product color dull and unappealing.

    Rule of thumb - never post unprocessed images on your website. In case you are looking to make your images sharp and professional, contact CutOutWiz for any image-related solutions.

After creating upsell bundles and discounts, the next step is to start spreading the word. Popups are a great way to draw your customers’ attention towards these promotions and offers.
