Feedback on store/ visitors coming but no sales

Hi, 

I am hoping you can give us some honest feedback on our store.


We have launched a week ago and have been running ads on Facebook, Instagram and google.

We are getting around 100 customers visiting a day but they are not spending longer than 10 seconds. We’ve also had no sales.

Please can give us your feedback with your expertise on what we can do to improve.

Congratulations on opening a new store and welcome to Shopify.  Since you are getting around 100 visitors per day but no sales, it could mean customers don't find your store reliable enough to make a purchase. Since you offer various designs, I recommend adding a Wishlist to improve the user experience. If the items from the Wishlist haven't been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.

Make Menu Sticky for user experience. Make your online shop more user-friendly by keeping navigation fixed and remaining visible in the same position as the user moves around the website. 2. Adding product reviews. 

Customers will spend their to read user reviews more than they read product descriptions.  So try to add some reviews of your products to your homepage. It will strongly help to increase customer's reliability to your products. You can use product review apps so support you to do it.

3. Add CTA button such as "Shop Now", "View More", "Add To Cart" into your collection.

Regarding marketing strategy, you should spend first priority to find the methods which brings positive results with no risky and low cost. It much better for you at this time. 

I know one of most popular reasons why merchants got 0 sale in several months is about marketing strategy. Someone got trouble in store design, however, someone feel confused when choosing the right marketing strategy for their stores.

 

Tip 1: Sell your products in social channels such as Facebook and Instagram

I've taken a look at your store and have some suggestions to increase the conversion rate.
 
1. Add 'New Arrivals' section to help customers keep updated on new products.
2. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product.
3. Add a form in the Contact Us page for better customer interaction.
4. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional. 
5. A FAQ would be useful! 
6. Add the Home page link at the starting of the main menu.
7. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.

  • Homepage

Regarding the hero banner, I think you should add CTA button on it. The banner is one of the first things customers see on your site so it plays crucial roles in showcasing what you sell and igniting customers’ curiosity about your products. A CTA button on the banner will lead customers straight to a specific product page and speed up their buying process effectively.

Besides, so many products on your website can make customers get lost. They may stick to discovering all your beautiful products and take a long time to make a buying decision. You can totally solve this problem by adding a sticky cart displaying on any page on your website. It is always visible and reminds customers to check out their chosen products in the cart.

Organize header section with minimizing empty space, so that rest of the page flows better.

Make a sticky header for easy navigation. It helps customers to access menu at any time they want.

Include Blog page, Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

Add Testimonials or reviews on the homepage to build trust with the visitors.

Make social Icons open in new tab, on footer section.

You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store   which helps to increase your sales.

There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.

There are no reviews on your products. Add product review app so that customer can write a review when they purchase any product from your store.

You can also sell your products on Etsy marketplace as it is very good platform to sell unique, handmade and Vintage goods . If you are already selling on Etsy store consider our Etsy Integration app in the shopify app store. Etsy is a Huge marketplace for selling creative goods such as art & collectibles, crafts & supplies, jewellery &accessories and more,  if you have any unique/handmade/vintage goods in your store, you can give further exposure to your products.
