Hi @abhijit33, I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
Welcome to the community! I understand that you put a lot of effort into building this store, and you want to know if there are any places for improvement. I'd like to share some honest feedback based on my experience as a store visitor, after I browse your website.
1. Adding images for the hero banner
- The hero banner is a critical section as it’s the first thing visitors notice when they land on your store. Currently, your hero banner features a plain grey background with faint white text saying “Home Tech Mart,” which might be really difficult for some users to read. It also lacks a key component: a call-to-action button to prompt visitors to explore further.
- Suggestion for you:
+ Consider adding high-quality images here showcasing some of your trending products, as visual elements often help in engaging users. You should only add about 3 images for the hero banner, focusing on your most best-seller products/collections.
+ Increasing contrast or boldness to make the text stands out more. Please make sure that the text is still easy to read after adding images for the hero banner.
+ Adding a CTA like “Shop now” or “Explore products” would make it more actionable and encourage users to move forward.
2. Fixing the technical issue with product images
- I encounter this issue with the "Best seller" section: the placeholders or image links for the first three products seem to be broken, as no visuals are displayed. This issue can impact the overall user experience and make your store look unpolished and unprofessional.
- Suggestion:
+ Double-check the image URLs or upload paths for the broken images.
+ Ensure that all product images are correctly uploaded in your content management system.
+ Test the page on different devices (desktop, laptop, mobile) and browsers (Safari, Chrome) to confirm that the images load consistently.
3. Hero product section improvement
- This Hero product section is visually appealing and serves as a great highlight for a featured item on the homepage. Still, it is missing a very important information: this product's pricing. Plus, the product image looks quite blurry when I view it via my desktop.
- Suggestion:
+ Including the price or a promotional offer (e.g., “Limited-time offer: Now for Rs. 649!”) can give users a stronger reason to click immediately.
+ Add a bit more spacing between the bullet points to improve readability.
+ If space allows, include a short customer quote like “The best juicer for travel – super easy to use!” to build trust and highlight social proof.
+ Change the current product image with a high-quality image.
4. Adding a favicon to your website
A favicon, or favorites icon, is a small image or logo that displays next to a web page's name. Add a favicon to your store can increase its brand recognition. Here is the Shopify instruction for you to add a favicon for your store, in the Theme setting: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/images/add-favicon
5. Removing uneccessary sections from the homepage
I notice that currently, you have 4 main sections on your homepage: Best seller, Hero product, Trending products or Most popular. In my opinion, the "Trending products" and "Most popular" section are quite redundant on your homepage, because they have the same meaning and quite similar product list, compared to the "Best seller" section. To enhance the homepage, I suggest that you should remove these sections, and add more engaging sections such as the "Limited-time offer deals", or the Review section that showcases customer reviews for your products.
I hope that my suggestions is helpful for you to improve your store's UI/UX. Good luck!

One thing you can do is to improve your conversion rate is add clickable links to your home page image. This way people can find products they like faster.
Shoppable Image Hotspots does exactly that. People will spend more time on your site and be more likely to buy products.
Hi, I’m Wayne from Akohub. We have been working with many brands to run online stores. I have viewed your website and hope our expertise can help you.
Your website Home Tech Mart has a solid foundation and thorough product information. There are a few areas that could benefit from enhancements to improve user experience and engagement. Firstly, consider adding a clear CTA in the hero section of your website. A button CTA can guide visitors toward important actions, such as signing up for a newsletter, exploring featured products, or taking advantage of special offers. This captures their attention right away, encourages engagement and helps direct traffic to key areas of your site. This can improve overall user experience and increase conversion rates, ultimately leading to higher customer satisfaction and retention.
Additionally, enhancing your product categories section with more descriptive tags can greatly improve navigation and help customers find what they’re looking for more easily. By adding tags that reflect specific features, uses, or styles, such as "smart home devices," and "kitchen gadgets," you can create a more organized and user-friendly browsing experience. This not only aids in product discovery but also allows customers to filter their searches based on their specific needs and preferences. A particularly effective addition would be a loyalty program widget on your homepage. This feature not only incentivizes repeat purchases but also fosters a sense of community among your customers.

To implement a program on your site, we recommend our Ako marketing app, which is designed to enhance customer engagement and boost repeat purchases for Shopify store owners.
