Feedback for your online store from the community
https://d28c8b-60.myshopify.com
Hi I have just started dropshipping and as yet have not gone live. My store will be selling maternity wear, nursery products and children's wear newborn to 5 year olds.
There are some things I would like to change but unsure how :-
I would like to increase the size of the Store Name in the header so it fills up more of the header
I would like to make the picture on the home page smaller so everything fits onto the one page
With all the variations in clothing size and colours how do I link all the pictures with the size and color, I have noticed on some product pages that if you click on say 12 month old size and select red as your colour option the picture will show but if you do the same but choose blue as your option no product picture will show. Is there any easy way link all the pictures with all the sizes and colours ?
Any other feedback and suggestions would be most appreciated, and I'm particularly interested in my choice of store name so any opinions would also be welcome.
Thank you
Hey @JohnC50
Your store is password protected, can you share the front end password as well?

I have removed the password
Hey @JohnC50
Follow these Steps:
1) Go to Online Store
2) Edit Code
3) Find theme.liquid file
4) Add the following code in the bottom of the file above </body> tag
<style>
@media screen and (min-width: 768px) {
img.header__heading-logo {
width: 360px;
}
}
</style>
RESULT:
For other changes, as they're not possible with CSS only and will require some custom coding so I suggest you to hire a Shopify developer who can help you out with that!
If I managed to help you then, don't forget to Like it and Mark it as Solution!

I absolutely love the pictures on your website. I actually felt an emotion when I viewed the banner photo. My suggestion is to download the Translate and Adapt website and convert language to English and more. Don't limit yourself to selling to one area, you have beautiful items.
Thank you for your feedback, by your comment I can infer that I have achieved my goal of releasing the maternal instinct on my website. The reasons for limiting myself to one area is thatI live in the antipodes which is now coming in to Spring/Summer and by focusing on these seasons means I only have carry at most 2 seasons rather than 4 which at this point in starting out keeps things (mostly) simple, if the shop goes off than expansion would definitely be on the cards (my long term business plan).
Hi John,
Would love to take a look at your website when you start developing the product pages and adding content.
If I were you I'd take inspiration from competitors such as: https://mamaandpeaches.com/ in terms of designing the homepage and the navigation, they're a good place to start. I believe @Moeed developed it and maybe he can offer guidance in terms of development.
Regarding the navigation, I'd avoid having 2 rows of categories on desktop and I'd split the nav into "courtesy navigation" where you can put non-transactional links such as "contact us", "help" and "return & refund policy" which users will look for and "main navigation" where you only have transactional pages such as main category pages, listing pages and offer pages.
Here's a quick sketch I did for you for the desktop navigation:
Regarding the brand name here's some fun alternatives:
1. Tiny collection
2. Snuggle nest
3. Mama & giggles
4. Mum & mini
Let me know if my answer helped you by liking this and marking it as a solution!
Thanks,
