Hi all! Just wanted some feedback on the product line on my website tipsycocktailsupplyco.com Is it clear to you what I sell? Are collections easy to navigate? Anything you want to suggest, nicely, I would consider carefully.
I am going to be merging into a Shopify theme store soon, so design is not of top concern at the moment. I am mostly interested in thoughts on the product line.
Thank you!
Very clear. The orange bar above your header pretty much spells it out, but further down you also have a header, "We Offer Cocktail Supplies Including Syrups, Glassware, and More," which spells it out nicely.
I find the back-and-forth crawl in that top line to be annoying, but that could just be me. I’d prefer something static, but if it has to move make it a continuous crawl.
Hi @TipsyCocktail,
Welcome to the community.
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your website. As a CRO expert at PageFly, a Shopify landing page builder, I'm happy to provide some feedback on your product line and site navigation.
For first-time viewers, it is clear that your website offers handmade craft cocktail supplies and mixers. The homepage effectively communicates the types of products you sell, including syrups, mixers, bitters, and bar tools. The product images and descriptions further reinforce this, making it easy for visitors to understand what is available.
The collections are easy to navigate, and the dropdown menu helps users find specific items quickly. However, the font size is a bit small and hard to read, you can consider changing this in your next theme switch 😊
A few additional suggestions to enhance the user experience for your upcoming update:
I hope these suggestions are helpful. Best of luck with your store, and keep striving for improvement!
Cheers,
Kate | PageFly team

Hi @TipsyCocktail,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm Tracy from BON: Loyalty Rewards Referrals.
After taking a look at your product page, overall, I think it provides a smooth browsing experience, it helps me explore and find the products easily. This is one of the most well-designed stores I've seen in a while! There are 2 small things that I'd like to add comment about here:
1. Consider changing the default filter to "Best selling"
As I see here, the current default filter of your collection page is "Name ascending". I suggest you to change it to "Best selling" because it can provide you with several benefits, such as:
- Highlight Popular Products: Displaying best-selling items first can immediately showcase the most popular and trusted products, which can help new customers make quicker decisions.
- Increase Sales: Featuring top-selling products prominently can boost sales, as these items are likely already resonating with customers.
- Enhanced User Experience: It provides a better shopping experience by presenting what other customers prefer, potentially aligning with new visitors' preferences.
2. Consider refining the current collection list
The current collection list is very detailed, however, it can be quite overwhelmed for first-time visitors. There are many bullet points are listed in the Handmade glassware and Home Bar Essentials collections. Instead of showing them all by default, I think you should use a dropdown menu for these 2 collections. This will shorten your collection list, make it cleaner to see, and easier to navigate.
I hope this feedback proves valuable and helps you in optimizing your store's user experience. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

Hello @TipsyCocktail,
Great website!
I think there are a few points you should consider:
Best regards,
Anastasia
Thank you! How long do you recommend before the pop up pops up?😁
I’m working on store speed now to remedy that as well as the quality of pics.
Thanks for all the input!
Hello @TipsyCocktail
From a customer perspective, please find some of my observations -
1. Orange banner, displaying the product categories you deal with, can have a click option which can redirect to the product specific display page. As the "shop" option in your menu (header note) gets under shadowed by the banner
2. Highlighting bestsellers, instills confidence in your product DP for a customer, who is a first time visitor and looking for a specific product
3. Not able to find recommendations , while on the product Display page. This will be strong point to understand different usages. Placement of this information is pivotal
Regards,
Sanjay
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your time and will take those suggestions into account asap.
Hi @TipsyCocktail,
I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.
Overall, your store is quite well set up. The information on the about us section, support policy, live chat, review section is very comprehensive and clear, which will address any concerns customers might have. It would be beneficial to regularly update these sections to reflect any new policies or information.
Just want to add some recommendations regarding the performance of your website
1. Improving the speed and performance on Mobile and desktop.
2. Improve search bar
You should enhance the search by making larger product images, showing pricing, adding search by material, search by collection to improve search bar. Below is a reference, with large pictures, it provides a better experience on mobile.
I hope some of my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback.
Good luck!

Thank you for all the suggestions! I am currently working on the store speed by converting it from the current custom them to a Shopify supported theme and am working with a company to help with SEO and site speed, so hopefully that will all be remedied soon.
I also appreciate the suggestions for the search box and will try to implement that in the new theme. Thanks again! Great suggestions.
I took a good look at your website and really appreciate the effort you’ve put into building your product line. From what I see, your niche—cocktail supplies—is clear, and your branding feels fun and inviting, which is great for engaging customers who enjoy making drinks at home.
Now, getting straight to your main concern—your product line. Here are some thoughts:
Product Clarity: The overall theme of cocktail-related products is solid, but if I were a new visitor, I’d want to quickly grasp what makes your product line special. Are you focusing on premium tools, unique ingredients, DIY cocktail kits, or gift sets? If you haven’t already, a short tagline or category descriptions could help clarify this at a glance.
Navigation & Organization: Your collections make sense, but ensure that each product falls into the most intuitive category. If you have a mix of tools, mixers, and accessories, consider adding filtering options or clearer category breakdowns to help users browse faster.
Product Selection & Variety: If your goal is to appeal to both beginners and enthusiasts, think about whether you have a good balance of essential tools and unique items that set you apart. For example, do you offer curated cocktail-making sets for different experience levels? If not, that could be a great way to expand your product appeal.
Product Descriptions & Presentation: Since you’re merging into a Shopify theme store soon, I assume you’ll refine the visuals, but make sure your product descriptions highlight why each item is a must-have. Do they cater to casual drinkers or professionals? Are there unique materials, designs, or functionalities that justify the price? A little storytelling or usage examples could help.
Potential Expansion: Depending on your audience, you might also consider bundling products or offering limited-time seasonal sets (e.g., holiday cocktail kits).
Overall, your product line is well-thought-out, but a bit of added clarity on positioning, navigation, and customer appeal could make it even stronger.
If you need any other assistance, feel free to ask, and I will try my best to support you.
Best regards,
Daisy.
