Hello all! I'm fairly new to this, but definitely getting the hang of it. finished the site, added plenty of items, all sorted.  I have quite a few apps to to help optimize everything. I ran some ads, and my current trafic (about a week in) has been 260ish visitors, and I'm wondering when I should be getting the first sales.  It seems as customers are scrolling through, but never really browsing the selections or anything.

Looking for a few tips because I'm kinda lost and I'm not sure what to improve on. The main category is budget gadgets and accessories.

Hello @Dtmpro621

I have carefully gone through your store: https://thrifterstech.com/ and I discover it great store with amazing products however your store lack some feature like:

- No Favicon : Having a favicon for your store will make your store unique and help customers easily recognize it. You can search for Adding a favicon to your store on the Help Center of Shopify to know how to add it.
-No Price Comparison : This will let customers know you are offering them reduction on your products.
- No Products Review: You can import products review to gain customers trust.
- You don't link your Social media page: You should have social medial for your brand and link them to your store especially to the footer menu.

- Retention funnel: this is a funnel that helps to nuture and manage the traffic visting your store, for example you need to set up a sign up form or pop up form by which you can be able to
generate the leads of subscribers after which we can now set up a campaign and News letter so that you can be able to reach out to your subscribers and let them know if there is New product to purchase, this will turn the visitors to potential buyers or customers.
If you can do this, Sales is sure with good traffic to targeted Audience.

I hope the above is useful to you.

Hi there,

It sounds like you are new to e-commerce and are looking for some tips to increase conversions.

Here are a few suggestions that may help:

  • Make sure that your website is mobile-friendly and responsive. With more and more people using their phones to shop online, it's important that your website looks good and is easy to navigate on smaller screens.

  • Offer a variety of payment options to make it easier for potential customers to complete a purchase. This can include options like credit card, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

  • Make sure that your website loads quickly. If it takes too long for a page to load, visitors may become frustrated and leave before making a purchase.

  • Take a look at the customer journey on your website. Is it easy for visitors to find and purchase your products, or are there any roadblocks or confusing steps in the process? Making the checkout process as smooth and straightforward as possible can help increase conversions.

  • Think about your target audience and consider what might be most important to them when making a purchase decision. Do they value high-quality images, competitive prices, or fast shipping? Make sure that you highlight these features on your product pages and throughout your website.

I hope these suggestions are helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions or if you'd like further assistance.

Best regards,

Rohail Ali

Hey! First thing I noticed is "shop all we have to offer" is too long. "Shop all" will do the job just fine. Also, when I click on the button it leads me to the page for all of your products, but for some of them, there are no buttons and the titles for all your products are "View Heading"... make sure you fix that.

You haven't seen conversions yet, as there is still a lot of work to be done on your store. Start with filling your About Us page, it will add trust in the eyes of your customers. Also, your All Products button next to your logo is leading to an empty page with no products. But I do like where you've placed the customer reviews, they need to be high on the page just like yours.

I think you need to work more on the structuring and the functionality of the site in overall. Start fixing things one by one and then start with promotion. GL!
