Hello @hellofancyplant

Hope you are doing good. Your store looks nice and here are few suggestions.

Organize Header section and try to minimize empty space on it.

Add ATC(add to cart) buttons on the products.

Mention more contact details of your store, which builds trust on your store.

Include Blog page,  blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store  which helps to increase your sales further. Improve your conversions by directly reaching those who close to your customers.

There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.

You can also sell your products on Etsy marketplace as it is very good platform to sell unique, handmade and Vintage goods . If you are already selling on Etsy store consider our Etsy Integration app in the shopify app store. Etsy is a Huge marketplace, if you have any unique or Handmade product in your store, you can give further exposure to your products.

Hi @hellofancyplant

Thank you for sharing!

Congrats on your store - I have just browsed through your store, I think it is well designed and easy to use. Getting your first couple of sales will always pose a challenge, but with the right effort in the right direction. You will start converting your traffic to sales in no time - I will suggest focusing your energy on your marketing and pricing (make it competitive). They are a ton of useful resources in the Shopify blog and academy that can help you hone in on marketing. You can also check this article on Making your first sales in 30 days

Regarding the user experience of your store - here are some feedbacks

1. Add all your collections as navigation on the header. This will make it easier for your customers to see and navigate through your collections

2. On the collection page - I will suggest displaying your variants as products or showing your product variants on the collections page; this does not only improve the collections page aesthetics but helps showcase all the available variants to your customers while they are browsing the collection page. Your customers will not click through all your products to view the available variants, so been able to display them on the collection page is a huge plus for conversions.

Here is an example:

Some themes already have this option, you can check for this on your theme customizer and enable it. Also, you can get the variant images on the collection pages option for free with the Collection Filter and Search Bar by the Sobooster app.

3. Use color swatches to display product variants: This makes it easier for your customers to see all the available variants and also improves the aesthetics of the product page.

Best of luck and cheers!

Hey there, @hellofancyplant!

First of all, welcome to Shopify! It’s frustrating when you have a great store, have positive feedback but no sales. Let’s see what we can do.

I noticed you have Lucky Orange installed. As one of the Lucky Orange founders, I know firsthand the value of using visitor behavior to learn more about people on your website and then use that to grow sales.

Now, let’s dive into your website!

Focus on your main navigation

I don’t think your main navigation is bad, but I know it can be better. Using your heatmap, where are people clicking? Where are they not clicking? Next, use Visitors to watch people who land on your homepage navigate around the store. How do they reach product pages?

With your main navigation in particular, I would expand the Shop and move the FAQ and About Us pages to the footer. So the new main navigation may be something like: Home | Shop (with current drop-down) | Apparel | Accessories | Contact Us.

Also, a question: Would Jewelry be considered Accessories? If so, there’s no need to divide the two into separate collections.

Analyze your homepage

Give your homepage a serious evaluation. In particular, use a scroll heatmap to see how far people are reaching on your homepage and then a click heatmap to see where people are clicking. You can use filters to narrow down to specific sources or UTM parameters if you are doing any paid campaigns.

I would suggest featuring collections (not products) under your hero image, removing the About Us segment (though great job on making it personal!), and looking at whether or not people are using your product links from the homepage. In my experience, these don’t drive sales.

A survey would be helpful here as well. You could ask, “What stopped you from checking out today” to learn more about what your visitors think.

Don’t forget the details

I noticed on several pages, including the FAQ, Contact Us, Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, have unlinked email addresses. This is a small detail that should be easy to fix. While it may not be costing you sales, it’s a best practice.

For your Contact Us page, remove the phone number field. It typically has a higher abandonment rate.

Add in important details

I’m assuming you don’t offer free shipping regularly. In that case, you need to spell out how much someone can expect to pay for shipping. Don’t leave this to checkout. Since you have it on product pages, add it on here too.

Also, don’t forget the sizing charts. While you have them on the product-specific pages, a general sizing chart can be helpful too.

Update the collection pages

Remove the header images from the product pages. It pushes the products down too far and isn’t necessary for a conversion.

Mind your filters - go through it with a fine-tooth comb. You don’t need filters for Hoodies and Hoodies & Sweatshirts or for Sweatshirts and SWEATSHIRT. Get those set to really help your visitors.

Tweak your product pages

Again, use your Visitors to see people who engage with product pages. If you’re driving a lot of traffic from a paid campaign, see how long they stay. What do they do? You could be driving the wrong traffic or dealing with bots.

Other suggestions:

  • Remove the product information; it screams dropshipping. Focus on the fit, the material, and care instructions. No one else will care if it’s double-needle stitched.
  • Make sure that your sizing is in order. On the Plants, Plants, Plants Hooded Sweatshirt, the sizing went from S - L in the right order before being out of order.
  • Keep your sizing chart formatting consistent. They were all over the place.
  • Move the reviews higher on the page. I would move them above Questions.

Connect with visitors

I see that you’re using live chat, which is great! It keeps people on your website while you answer their questions. Are you using chat invites? You can set triggers that will invite someone to chat at just the right time, such as spending more than 90 seconds on a specific page.

To sum it up, your website looks amazing. You have a great niche, and I’ve already shared your site with a colleague here in the Lucky Orange office who is a proud plant mom. Keep using visitor behavior, and let me know if you have any questions. My team and I are ready to assist you in any way that we can.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

Cheers - Danny

Hi @hellofancyplant

All-in-one marketing platform Growave is here. In general, your store design and visual appeal look good. Since you are getting traffic but no sales, it means visitors find your store unreliable. Therefore, I would recommend you focus on social proof at your Shopify Store. Consider implementing more eCommerce marketing tools in order to increase your sales. I hope my recommendations would help.

  • Add Social Login

Social Login provides easier access to a customer's account and enables creating an account within one click through social media account. You can let customers log in using their Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Yahoo, Tumblr, Instagram, or Amazon accounts. It simplifies the login process and enables one-click signup. Also, gathered data through social login can be studied for customer retention and client analysis.

  • Add Instagram galleries that sell

Turn your Instagram content and user-generated content into shoppable galleries and allow your customers to shop directly from the posts. Link your profile on Instagram to the store and turn your profile visitors into customers. Showcasing stunning shoppable Instagram galleries across your site will help to increase product discovery, drive inspiration, and boost sales.

  • Add a Blog Page

Since your store has been launched recently, the blog will make your shop more credible and relatable. The blog will provide new clients with a sense of confidence in their purchases. Also, constantly adding new content to your blog will positively impact SEO, drives traffic to your online store, and keeps audiences in your store.

  • Add Wishlist

Offering a Wishlist is an effective way to reduce shopping cart abandonment and fulfill sales from customers who showed intent but didn't purchase. This is a non-obvious feature that extremely scales your purchases. Since you offer various designs and color options, I recommend adding a Wishlist to improve the user experience. If the items from the Wishlist haven't been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder. Moreover, you can analyze the data to see what items people save for later and what items they actually buy. Also, we have integration with Klaviyo.

  • Implement Loyalty and Rewards program

The Loyalty and Rewards program system inspires customers to connect more genuinely with your brand. It helps to strengthen direct communication between you and your audience. Also, it positively impacts repeat purchases and turns your customers into loyal clients. Motivate your purchasers by setting points, Referral links and VIP statuses. You can reward them for leaving reviews, following on social media accounts, birthday gifts on their special days, etc. As a rule, such activities drive high-value purchase experiences. Also, use the Referral program in order to give your customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and getting rewarded for that. Once you got your first clients, try to gain more orders through existing ones. It motivates customers to develop brand community

For adding the functions above you can use several apps. However, if you want to get all of them at affordable price, try  Growave.  We have 5 great features - Reviews, Wishlist, Rewards & Loyalty, Social Login, shoppable Instagram gallery on Shopify store under one dashboard.

Hello @hellofancyplantThis is AiTrillion- an all-in-one integrated marketing platform on Shopify. We are happy to help more than 100k+ Shopify merchants and would love to provide a solution to your questions.

good points of your store:

  • page speed is perfect
  • good design & layout
  • great items

- Reduce the blank space in the sections on the homepage.

Add the ‘buy now’ button on the product page- it lets your shoppers purchase the products they want faster and avoid extra steps of the checkout process.

Start using a loyalty program to entice your customers. It will help you build a loyal customer base. You can give loyalty points to your customers on activities like signing up, allowing for web push notifications, making a purchase, visiting a store and many more.

This will help in doubling the sales as when you give loyalty points to your customers they will come back to your store to make a purchase in order to redeem those points. You can give rewards to your customers to redeem those points.

Add web push notifications, it will help you to retarget your customers even when customers are not in your store without getting their email address. You can send back in stock and price drop alert notifications to bring customers back to your store. It also helps to reduce the abandoned cart rate.

- For conversions, run email campaigns with the help of segmentation. Also, run push campaigns. It helps to get conversions to your store.

- Run paid ads targeting the right audience.

Hope this helps!

To add the above marketing engagement tools to optimize the conversions of your store there are many apps available in the Shopify app store. Instead of installing multiple apps, you can install the all-in-one Shopify app AiTrillion and get all the benefits of marketing features in a single app to drive conversions.

Hi @hellofancyplant

Ok love your website! Definitely very niche. Shopify is a slow build but worth it once you build momentum.

  • I would focus on ensuring your product photography is on more of your product pages - that would show your customers using the product. Stage a photoshoot and highlight them through your site. Your IG has some great photos, definitely use them on your site.
  • Regularly test your site speed and ensure everything is loading correctly, definitely an overlooked spot. SEO is another slow build but worth the time.
  • Optimize your product pages by adding banners that highlight promo codes or any special discounts, customer reviews or information about the product, directly on the product pages. This will help guide your customers through education on your products. There are some great examples here:
  • Showcase your customer reviews! This builds trust especially with new customers, of course as you get them.

Hope that helps

Hey @hellofancyplant,

Congrats on your store - I browsed through your store, I think it is well designed. Excellent job on the website.

Now, for improving the conversions, have you considered what could be the cause behind no sales? Check your site's bounce rate? Are your users bouncing back because they are not getting answers to product questions? With Relish AI's conversational FAQs, your site visitors can get instant answers to all product and brand-related questions. Are they not finding the right product? A quiz-like feature that could guide the user to the right products would help. Are users abandoning their carts before check-out? An exit-intent campaign with personalized incentives (like free shipping or discount coupons) can help reduce the number of abandoned carts. Improve customer engagement with always-on live-chat to help users and nudge them to finish the purchase.

Relish AI's conversational AI-powered chatbot/shopping assistant is an app that helps you automate your sales and customer support. Never lose a customer with an always-on Smart chat assistant Engage site visitors from the get-go Generate valuable insights on customer behavior Improve store conversion Build brand loyalty with an unparallelly customer experience Reduce support tickets by 30-50% Contact us if you need any help in optimizing the app for your store.
