Feedback for your online store from the community
Hey guys, I launched 3 Tiktok ads for 30 euro's and let them run for the day. I noticed that 2 ads did very good with a combined CTR of around 3%, a CPC of 0.22 and a combined 9 add to carts, but I didn't receive any sales. Is there something wrong with my website or anything else? I Would really appreciate some help in trying to find out where things are going wrong.

Hi @Destroyerr023 ,
This is Kate from PageFly, Shopify Landing Page Builder. Based on my observations, there are a couple of opportunities to increase the traffic and sales for your store.
1. Highlight the Product Title
The current styling of your product title is blending in too much with the product description. To improve visibility and clarity, consider these design changes: increase font size, use contrast color, bold or italicize, etc. By making these changes, you can help customers quickly identify the product they're interested in and improve the overall user experience of your product page.
2. Make the product price more prominent
Similar to the product title, the product price is also looking quite faded. Let's make it more prominent. You can add a style to make the product price stand out more compared to the 'compare at price', or use a different color for the sale badge? This will attract the visitor's attention and encourage them to make a purchase.
3. Enhance sales with product recommendations on the product page
You can suggest complementary or related products that enhance the initial purchase. For instance, if a customer is buying a GoldenGlow Pads, you could display a list of recommended products like face cream, suncream, etc.
4. A/B Testing
Try A/B testing different versions of your product page elements (images, call to actions, etc.) to see what resonates best with your audience. By implementing A/B testing on your product pages, you can make data-driven decisions to improve user experience, increase conversions, and ultimately boost your sales.
That's all of my feedback. Hope it helps to increase your conversion rate.
Cheers,
Kate | PageFly team

Hi, I’m Wayne from Akohub. We have been working with many brands to run online stores. I have viewed your website and hope our expertise can help you.
The lack of sales could be attributed to a few factors related to your website. First, I noticed that your store features only one product, which can be a significant barrier for potential customers. Many shoppers are hesitant to purchase from a store that appears to have limited offerings, as it raises concerns about trust and reliability. To enhance credibility, consider expanding your product range or at least adding more brand stories and testimonials that showcase the quality and uniqueness of your offerings. A more comprehensive website design can also make your website more attractive and user-friendly, encouraging visitors to explore further and ultimately make a purchase.
In addition to improving your website’s appeal, implementing retargeting ads across various social media platforms can effectively boost your conversion rates. Since you already have traffic coming to your site, retargeting allows you to remind those visitors of their interest in your products and encourage them to return to complete their purchases. This is particularly useful for those who may have added items to their carts but left without finalizing the transaction. By using retargeting ads, you can create personalized messages that resonate with potential customers based on their previous interactions with your site.
To help you launch retargeting campaigns, I would recommend using our Ako Marketing app, which could simplify the setup of retargeting ads across different platforms, allowing you to focus on creating compelling content rather than getting bogged down in technical details. By addressing both your website's design and leveraging retargeting strategies, you'll be well on your way to improving your sales performance.
Best wishes! If you have any more questions or need a free professional consultation, feel free to let us know! Don't forget to like and mark it as a solution if you find this helpful.
Hi @Destroyerr023! I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.
First off, I want to say that getting a 3% CTR and 9 add-to-carts from a €30 ad spend is impressive – well done! This shows your ads are resonating, and there’s clear interest in your product. The fact that people are adding to cart but not purchasing means we’re likely dealing with minor friction points on the website or checkout process rather than a lack of demand. Let’s break down where improvements can be made to boost conversions.
1. Building trust – Essential for skincare products
For skincare, trust is everything. Since your product directly affects the skin, potential buyers will naturally hesitate without enough reassurance. Addressing this can significantly reduce drop-offs.
- Customer reviews with photos/videos: If you haven’t already, prioritize collecting reviews – especially ones with photos or videos. Visual proof of results (before and after) builds trust instantly. If you’re just starting out, offer samples in exchange for testimonials
- Trust badges and certifications: Add any certifications (e.g., dermatologically tested, cruelty-free) or safety guarantees visibly on the product page. Even small icons for secure payment or money-back guarantees help
- Influencer: Partner with micro-influencers or creators who can test and review your product on platforms like TikTok or Instagram. User-generated content is a powerful trust builder in the skincare niche
2. Product page optimization:
Your product description is a crucial factor in closing sales. Here’s how to enhance it:
- Focus on benefits over features: Highlight how the product improves skin health or solves a problem, not just what’s in it. For example: “Struggling with dull skin? Our product use Vitamin C to brighten your complexion and reduce dark spots in just 7 days".
- Formatting for Quick Reading: Use bullet points, bolded text, and short paragraphs. Make key points stand out – most users skim product pages.
3. Simplify the Call-to-Action:
I noticed the “shake” effect on the CTA, and while it grabs attention, it might frustrate some users. Skincare buyers often prefer a seamless experience over flashy effects.
- Opt for clean, bold buttons: Use contrasting colors and simple text like “Add to Cart” or “Buy Now.” Keep the focus on clarity rather than animation.
- Add subtle urgency or scarcity: A line like “Limited Stock – Order Today” or “Only 5 Left!” below the CTA can create urgency without being intrusive.
4. Audience targeting – test and engage:
Your ads are driving traffic, but hesitation likely comes from price sensitivity or the need for further reassurance.
- A/B test audience segments: Run tests targeting different age groups or interests to see who converts best. Sometimes a slight shift in targeting can yield higher returns.
- Use livestreaming to drive sales: Skincare products perform well in live selling environments. Hosting TikTok or Instagram live sessions allows you to demo the product, engage viewers, and answer questions in real-time – significantly reducing hesitation.
Your ads are clearly generating interest, which is half the battle. Now it’s about smoothing out friction points and building trust to drive those add-to-carts into completed purchases. I recommend starting with retargeting and strengthening social proof – both can drive quick wins. If you need help setting up email flows or retargeting ads, feel free to reach out. You’re on the right path – keep pushing forward, and those sales will follow!
Good luck with your store!

Hey there! First off, congrats on taking the leap with TikTok ads—that's a great platform to test. I took a look at your situation, and there could be a few factors at play here. Let me break it down for you.
It doesn’t seem like anything is “wrong,” per se, but more like you’re at that stage where tweaks can make a big difference. Focus on building trust, improving your product page, and testing retargeting. TikTok ads often require some trial and error, so you’re definitely on the right path!
If you need any other assistance, I am willing to help.
Best regards,
Daisy
