Feedback for your online store from the community
Looking for some help with google Misrepresentation. I have changed everything on the site that I believed could be the problem and I am kind of at a loss of what to do next. After going thru the main problems and fixing them such as policies, footer, & website problems. The most recent change we made was combining our shopify to our main company website, so we do not have multiple websites. We made our shopify a subdomain of the main website and then re connected everything to merchant center. This did not change the reply we got from google. Same reply we have got multiple times now. During our policy review we still found an issue with your account (Rodoc Leasing Sales & Service - Account ID: 5394904195): Misrepresentation . As a result, your product listings and/or Shopping ads are unavailable for display to users. Check your account status to understand how the issue is impacting your listings.
If anyone has any comments on our site, please let me know thank you!

For vehicles, you will need to use the vehicle ads option in Google Merchant Center.
Having multiple websites can be done, but since 2020 it has become very very hard, if the setup was done prior to 2020, Google tends to be ok with it.
You can technically setup an advanced account, however as you are suspended, you will not be able to set it up. And it will not change much from the perspective of Google.
My recommendation, and I also recommend you check with other specialists in the field, is to just have 1 website.
Please remember that a subdomain is technically a different website. And because you are selling product on both the main and subdomain. Google will still most likely not approve the account.
I don't understand. we combined the websites together via a subdomain because of your response on a different post I had. We do not sell anything on the main domain only this shop which is now the subdomain. How are those considered different websites??
There are so many websites set up with the shopify as the subdomain so there must be a way to make it ok to google.
If I look at your main website, I can see you provide listings, on quote basis. I made my opinion based on what I see today.
I recommend you search on Google -->>> is a subdomain a separate website
You will get your answer.
Don't confuse what I meant with 1 merchant = 1 website
With 1 subdomain = 1 merchant
The two are different topics.
You can indeed have thousands of subdomains, all owned by different people, that is absolutely fine.
Google just has an issue with 1 merchant multiple sites that have or look to have a products online, which in your case is.
Please also note, I am only sharing my opinion based on my experience.
So, unless we combine the sites completely together with same domain we will continue to have this issue. If we did combine these together wouldn't google have a problem with us selling both parts and vehicles(trailers) form the same domain though? I just don't get how so many companies have their shopify on a subdomain and seems like they have access to free and paid listing of products.
Another thought i had is could we make our merchant center a advanced account? and keep bot the domain and subdomain the main would be for the trailer sales while the subdomain would be for the parts sales
