Can someone, everyone, anyone take a peek and please inform me on what I can do more to make sells. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! I love what I am doing , but I just want to make a little more (or a lot, lol) of an income and would love the feedback.  Thanks in advance!

Hello @Mswalker0503

Hope you are doing well.

I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?

Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.

Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.

Here are some areas where you could consider working on

  • A good idea is to have your newsletter as a popup so that it shows up when the customer enters the home page. This will make it more visible and attract more people to your newsletter from where you can target more interested people.

  • Add a sticky header. The headings are important to navigate the site. If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky, the user can see them even if they have scrolled down, which makes the site more user friendly.

You can also consider making your headings a bit bigger or bolder, so that they catch the eye more easily.

  • People tend to buy more from people they can easily relate to. If you share your journey, your goals, and your aspirations with your customers, it will be easier for people to connect with you. If you can create an emotional connection with your visitors, people are sure to buy products from you.

  • It is a good idea to place a banner on the homepage that tells your customers exactly what they are looking for. You may add a separate banner for each of your product types

Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product. Consider, however, adding a Shop Now button to your banner, which will take you directly to the relevant product page.

It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page.

  • Use a star rating widget to let website visitors evaluate your business. They create standardization, allowing customers to compare different products easily. It also helps you get feedback about your products.

  • You will be surprised how much you can benefit from a chatbot. It can collect your necessary customer data, help you analyze which stuffs are trending or in more demand, and overall solve your problems by answering common questions so you won't have to.

  • Customers read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. If they find that 50 other people have liked your product and have purchased from you, it helps your credibility and they feel safer buying from you. So try to add some reviews of your products and services to your homepage.

Hope this helps you. If you find it useful, leave a like to let me know! Happy Selling! Thank you and the Very Best of Luck to you!

Hello @Mswalker0503,

I've taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can make better conversions.

1. There is too much blank space above the header menu. That is above and below the header logo section.
2. Add 'New Arrivals' section to help customers keep updated on new products.
3. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product.
4. Add Contact Us page for better customer interaction.
5. It would be nice if product images could be zoomed in / enlarged
6. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional.
7. On the Home page, towards the end of the page you have a slideshow and as the slideshow images are changing, the below footer part is moving up and down. Make the slideshow section fixed height so that it won't move other sections up and down as per the image size.
8. A FAQ would be useful!
9. Add About Us page which is a reflection of the purpose and personality of the business.
10. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
11. Add filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)

Hi Takisha,

It's PageFly - Best Page Builder App here and I'd like to share some of my initial thoughts when first browsing through your online store. I hope that my recommendations based on 6 years of providing solutions for more than 100.000 merchants can be beneficial to you in improving your store performance.

I have a few more comments to make your pages even better:

1. The header is being quite huge and having too much blank space. It’s highly recommended to make your customer focus on your hero banner (with short introduction and Call-to-action button) rather than header. In comparison, the hero banner can drive better conversion rate than the header.

2. The hero banner should stay full in one screen to avoid multiple times of scrolling for one section. Aside from that, you can make this hero banner more attractive by:

  • Redesign with more personalized font style. Full-width hero banner will have better impression as well
  • Add more information like your store spirit, sales-driven quote
  • Add Shop Now button to encourage customer to start purchasing

3. Choose a suitable layout for your product lists. It shows here that you have 9 products for this list, so having a 3x3 layout will reduce the unwanted blank space on your list, which makes your store look like it lacks products.

Another tip is to make sure all product images have the same styling, which in this case is white background. Having the same styling will make the list look more professional.

4, Add testimonials section on your Home page to increase your store trustworthiness. You can check out the design from our template here

5, Your products are in the fashion industry, which means they will rely greatly on product images to be sold. For that reason, I recommend you to save more space for the product image so customers can stay focus on it.

6, Add a review section to your product page to make your product look more trustworthy. You can also add a Recommendation Product section for cross-selling and make more sales from one customer. This layout can be a helpful suggestion to you

Hello @Mswalker0503

Hope you are doing good. Your store looks nice and here are few suggestions.

Header section is so huge. Organize header section with minimizing empty space on it.

Make a Sticky header for easy navigation. It helps customer to access menu at any time they want.

Expand hero banner to a full width, as it gives good impression when customer lands on the homepage.

Add Shop Now(CTA) on the hero banner.

Include Blog page, Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

Make Social links open on new tab.

Add contact us page with contact form and more details, it builds trust on your store.

You can promote your products with word of mouth strategy. Boost your sales with the app from the shopify app store   which helps to increase your sales.

There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.

There is no customer review option on the products. Install Product review app from the Shopify app store, so that customer can write a review when they purchase any product from your store.

You can also sell your products on Etsy marketplace as it is very good platform to sell unique, handmade and Vintage goods . If you are already selling on Etsy store consider our Etsy Integration app in the shopify app store. Etsy is a Huge marketplace for selling creative goods such as art & collectibles, crafts & supplies, jewellery &accessories and more,  if you have any unique/handmade/vintage goods in your store, you can give further exposure to your products.
