Feedback for your online store from the community
Hey friends, I've made my Shopify based e-Commerce store over the last 9 months, in order to sell bamboo fabric socks, created by established artists.
With instagram marketing (1000 followers so far) we are managing to make 1 or 2 organic and ig driven online sales per month. Can anyone please take a look at our website and let me know parts that confuse them, need to be improved? How do you guys suggest that I create a better sales funnel on our website? Thanks so much!
Our website is soulesocks.com
Hi @BBDistributions,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - Customer Support Helpdesk/FAQ App.
Congrats on your new store! Sincerely, your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this.
Let us help you to better customer experience with some comments below:
1. Improve the First Picture: Ensure the first image prominently showcases the socks, as the current one only displays about 50% of them.
2. Feature a Winning Product on the Homepage:
Highlighting a top-selling product on your homepage can streamline the decision-making process for customers and encourage them to make a purchase.
3. Introduce a Benefits Section: Create a dedicated section to highlight the unique selling points of your products. This will help differentiate your store from competitors and emphasize why customers should choose your products.
4. Have an multi-category FAQ page
Your current FAQ page appears cluttered. Consider organizing it with multiple categories to make it more user-friendly. MooseDesk offers a free template that could help you achieve this.
This is a template MooseDesk currently offer for free. If you think it would fit your demand please feel free to try MooseDesk
Besides helping you creating your FAQ page, we also provide a helpdesk/ticketing system for your customer support. While Shopify Inbox is useful, it may not offer the robust features needed to manage and respond to tickets efficiently. MooseDesk can help bridge that gap.

Hi @Soulesocks,

1. Focus on your unique selling point.
I noticed that your store offers bamboo fabric socks. Sustainability is trending and makes consumers feel special, making it easier for them to make a purchasing decision.
You can develop this idea by showcasing:
By highlighting these aspects, customers will gain a deeper understanding of the product’s value and uniqueness, which can build trust and make their purchasing decision easier.
2. Optimize the product page images.
Go the extra mile with the fabric-centric section. This highlights the product’s value and authenticity.
For example:
3. Optimize the product title for SEO.
Make sure your product name includes the relevant keyword “Sock”.
I hope these tips will help optimize your store. Wishing you the best in your endeavors. Keep up the great work!

Hey there,
This is Alex from Consentmo GDPR app 🙂
Congrats on your store, looks pretty good. Below you can find my suggestions in order to improve your site performance and marketing strategy:
I suggest you implement a sticky header to improve navigation and enhance user experience. That way it will be easier for users to find what they're looking for, ultimately increasing engagement and conversions.
Your About Us page is an opportunity to connect with your audience on a personal level and showcase your brand story. I would recommend updating this page with compelling content that reflects your brand values, mission, and vision. Include engaging visuals, such as photos or videos, to humanize your brand and build trust with potential customers.
Adding a testimonial section on your Shopify store will showcase customer feedback and build credibility. Testimonials provide social proof and reassure prospective customers about the quality of your products or services.
Make sure compliance with data protection regulations by adding a comprehensive privacy policy page to your Shopify store. A transparent privacy policy instills trust and demonstrates your commitment to protecting customer privacy.
Handling the personal data properly is a must, so I would suggest choosing a compliance app compatible with Google Consent Mode V2 (GCM V2), Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) compliance, and Google certification to ensure seamless integration with your store's operations. With automated compliance tools, you can ensure adherence to data protection regulations without added complexity.
In order to improve your marketing strategy create email marketing campaigns to engage with your audience and drive sales. Segment your email list based on customer preferences and behavior to deliver personalized content and offers. Use eye-catching templates, compelling copy, and strategic timing to maximize the effectiveness of your email campaigns.
For your social media I would suggest creating engaging content across various platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, not only Instagram. That way you will showcase your products, share valuable content, and interact with your followers. Use social media advertising to target specific demographics and drive traffic to your Shopify store.
The Content Marketing is another important part that can attract organic traffic to your Shopify store. Create high-quality blog posts, videos, infographics, and other types of content that provide value to your audience and address their pain points. Optimize your content for search engines to improve visibility and attract potential customers.
I hope that my recommendations will help you improve your store performance or at least they could be a good starting point.
Do not hesitate to reach out in case of any questions, I would be more that happy to help 🙂
