Hey everyone, would love your brutally honest feedback on our store.

www.trylumo.com

We're bringing in traffic directly into our main product page but have yet to get any sales, or any add to carts/checkouts.

We've also noticed that we have a VERY low average session time of about 15 seconds - so we assume there's something bothering users with the website or the content from continuing down the funnel.

Any feedback/insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your help 🙂

Hi @Lumo ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

Congratulations on your new store! It looks amazing and professional, and it's clear you've worked hard on it. I'd love to share some suggestions as hereby:

HOMEPAGE

1. Adjust hero banner section

The hero banner is the first thing that visitors see on your homepage, so it is important to make it as effective as possible. Here are a few tips:

  • Use high-quality images or videos that are relevant to your business. The images or videos should be eye-catching and engaging, and they should make visitors want to learn more about your store.
  • Optimize your hero banner for mobile devices. More and more people are using their phones and tablets to browse the web, so it is important to make sure that your hero banner looks good and functions well on mobile devices.

2. Highlight the announcement bar

You can ensure that the message stands out and is easily noticed by your customers. This is important because it allows you to communicate important information to your visitors in a way that they are likely to see. You should make sure that the announcement bar is visually appealing and easy to read.

3. Add a Product list section

A product list section on the homepage is a great way to showcase your products and encourage visitors to store. Consider what products are most popular, new, or on sale. You can also use a product recommendation engine to help you choose the right products.

You can check this image for reference:

PRODUCT PAGE

1. Avoid blank space on the product page

Please review the spacing and consider adding additional products within it.

OTHER

With the holiday season fast approaching, and many businesses already preparing for events like Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) and Halloween, your products are a great fit for this time of year. I highly recommend following these tips to make the most of the festivities:

  • Gift wrapping: Offer a gift-wrapping service during checkout to make it easy for customers who are buying gifts for others.
  • Personalized recommendations: Use a personalized recommendation engine to suggest products to customers based on their browsing and purchase history. This will make their shopping experience more relevant and help them find the perfect gifts.
  • User-generated content: Display user-generated content, such as customer reviews, photos, or testimonials, to build trust and authenticity during the holiday season. This will help customers feel confident in their purchases.

These are some suggestions for improving the design.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Kate | PageFly Team

Hello @Lumo,

Good day! Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $7Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

I've taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can increase sales.

1. Display store's contact info like phone number, email address, and office address in the Contact Us page.
2. Add social media for the store to increase the traffic. By linking to your social media profiles, you can drive traffic to your social media pages, increasing your followers and potential customers.
3. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
4. Add About Us page which is a reflection of the purpose and personality of the business.
5. Use Trust Badges
Trust badges are crucial for every eCommerce store. Until people trust you with their credit card information, they won't make a purchase. A few ways to establish trust with potential customers are: Install an SSL certificate in your store, display small images of credit cards and other payment options, add social buttons that take your customers to your social media accounts, display your contact info (phone number, email address, and office address) prominently.
6. Add Blogging in the store
Blogging is an amazing way to drive traffic to your website and increase your SEO. The more your blog, the more content the search engines have to crawl and index. This means they can easily recognize that your site is a resource of information for people to access.
7. Remove Powered by Shopify from footer and add your own branding to your store footer.
8. Developing an optimal SEO product title and URL can assist search engines in accurately identifying your products and increasing traffic to your online store. Hence, strive to create distinctive and precise product titles and URLs.
