Hi everyone,


We recently started our new shop and would appreciate some feedback on our website. We have made a few sales, but it wasn't at the level we anticipated. 


We tried to be active on social media and build trust in our brand. But the amount of visitor and conversion rate is not great. If someone could take a look and suggest some ways we can retain and convert visitor, we would really appreciate it!

The website is good. I think the key is you need to build social to get more traffic to your site. Maybe you can start writing some content using Shopify Blog.

  • Adding a favicon is a great way to showcase your attention to detail which also builds some brand trust. A favicon, or favorites icon, is a small square image or logo that appears next to a web address. You can find favicons on your browser tabs, as well as on browser pages that list web addresses, such as the bookmarks page. 
  • You can add blogs to your online store, and then post to the blogs to update your customers about your business or products. Blog posts drive traffic to your site in several different ways: Improve your store's SEO and increase customer engagement.

  • You can also add product reviews to your homepage so prospective buyers can get some good reviews right away to further encourage making a purchase on your store. 
  • You can also consider creating discounts and promotions to entice buyers to make a purchase as well. Here is a great blog post that provides you with 18 ideas regarding this. 
  • I have also found this other blog post on social media marketing to help you utilize your social channels further.
  • It looks like you are using a Shopify made theme, if so, check out this help document that provides you 60 minutes of free design time from our team to help you with customizations that you might have some trouble doing on your own.

  • Lastly, I really appreciate the video you have regarding your upcoming skin care line however, it might be worth considering rearranging the order you display things in your homepage. Before looking more clearly into it, all I read was "coming soon" before realizing it was only for your skin care line. It might be worth pushing this a little but down and showcasing your best selling products first or perhaps the "Healthy Skin, Body and Soul" section.

Mentioning a few pointers that I think will be useful:

- Create a lead magnet on your home page so customers can fill in their details thus creating a database of customers that will come into use during sales events.

- Create a Customer profile icon and a Wishlist icon next to the cart icon.

- Website needs a favicon

- Consider using the 'Coupon Discount on Cart' App from the Shopify App store for all your discounting needs. This App shows all available discounts to the customer right at Cart Page in popup mode. Thus boosting sales.

- Speed Optimization is recommended for your website as its scoring 78 on mobiles and 100 on desktops. A fast website scores 90+. This affects your search engine ranking. Remember that even though your Desktop speed is perfect, most visitors come to you via mobiles.


As for Sales:

- Make sure you are advertising to your target audience. (The ones who might actually buy the product)

- Are customers adding products to cart?

- Are customers abandoning their cart?

- Are your products priced competitively?

- Make use of micro-influencers for now if possible as they can increase your brand awareness. And will be affordable for you.

- Create a Blog section where people can read about your products when they are not buying. That way you still retain the customer.

3. Present the heading (maybe the product name), subtitle or slogan to convey the product idea.

Pleas choose high-resolution pictures to leave a good first impression to your visitors. Usually, the first impression will affect the customer's assumption of product quality. Increasing the refined and high resolution of pictures can acquire the customers' trust and favor in just a few seconds.
Product page
Display of the product is not clear. There are so many elements on this product picture, not only the Tote bag, but also some bright colour of vegetables, it’s hard to find the main body of this picture, the background colour is so bright as to easily attract the customers’ attention.
It’s strongly recommended that change the picture to stress the style of the tote bag, which present more details of the product, rather than the irrelevant element. Also, the more refined the photo, the better impression you leave on your consumers. With the more quality you present to your visitors, there will be more trust cultivated and a higher probability convert them from visitors to customers.


Checkout page
Add back to homepage button. It's hard to find a 'go back to homepage' button, it's recommended to keep a navigation bar or add a brand picture that links to the homepage.

1. Add a favicon to your store

2. Make a sticky header

3. Invest in your hero banner and CTA buttons
