I have gone live with my store and after no months of sales it is finally picking up and getting a few orders a week, any tips on improving it?

I just checked your store; I really like your niche and products. Your store works well on mobile and is super easy to use. 

Here are my feedbacks;

1. Reduce the white space on your header; You logo height is a bit too much. I will recommend reducing the height to remove all the white space around the header.



2. Make the collection pages 3 products per row - Using 4 products per row makes the product images look smaller and the quality doesn't show off properly. The 4 products per row do not show off the quality of your products the way 3 products or 2 products will. Changing to 3 products or 2 products and enlarging the product images will look way better. 

Also, if you have the budget I will recommend adding a filter app to your collection pages. It makes your collections look much better and makes it easy for your customers to filter through the products. You can Check the Collection filter and Search bar by Sobooster



3. Add a chat app - Having a chat feature has proven a very useful way to get leads. Your customers are more likely to engage with you if you have a chat app on your store. I will strongly recommend having a chat app on your store that your customers can use to reach out to you anytime.

I have just taken a quick look at your website and I realized a big plus point of your website which is having a favicon for your store - that makes your store look unique and special.

However, I would like to give you some suggestions about your store so that you could consider changing and hope that the conversion rate is increased accordingly.

1. Having a sticky menu: 

This helps customers to reach out to the menu and access the navigation bar anytime they want. 

2. Featured Image

As you can see in the screenshot below, the featured image does not show what you are selling to catch the attention of your customer as it is not of high quality. That might lead to a high bounce rate. And, I think the CTA button should be bigger in size. 


3. Remove redundant white spaces

The section filled with a product named “Luxury Bum Vase” is not full width visually. I think it might be better if you can remove the unnecessary white space, and make the description more attractive, by using a color swatch instead of saying “Available in Black & White”, for example.


4. Have the same styling CTA buttons

To improve the conversion rate, one of the utmost things is that you should design the CTA buttons with the same styling. Please do it with the section I captured below. If possible, please add a heading for this part as “New arrivals” or “Featured Products”, and add product prices under each kind. Undoubtedly, the section would be more professional if the CTA buttons could line up in 1 row.


Last but not least, here are my other recommendations for you, feel free to consider them applied to your store:

  • Add testimonials: It is of great importance because your brand trust can be enhanced. You can consider using Loox or Yotpo app to review widgets with photos gallery because both of them integrate with PageFly already. Moreover, you can check this guide to pick the best reviews app for your store!
  • Add a section about your brand story: A business can stand out with its brand story. A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more attractive
  • Display more products/collections: This provides the customers a variety of choices and they could become more curious about your products. As a result, they spend more time exploring your store.

=> What helps you to build your store more easily, especially what helps you to build all options I comment on above is a page builder.

It would be a good choice for you to have professional sites that look incredible on mobile & desktop without any extra coding, and you will have lots more time focusing on marketing strategies, so you can consider checking PageFly.

However, I would recommend you implement several features and start using some e-commerce marketing tools in order to increase your sales and drive traffic. I hope my recommendations would help.

  • Make Sticky Menu

Make your online shop more user-friendly by keeping navigation fixed and remaining visible in the same position as the user moves around the website. Right now the menu bar on the head of the store disappears when a user scrolls down which is not convenient.

  • Implement Social Login 

Social Login provides easier access to a customer's account and enables creating an account within one click through social media account. It simplifies the login process and enables one-click signup. Also, gathered data through social login can be studied for customer retention and client analysis.

  • Add Wishlist.

If the items from the Wishlist haven't been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.

I highly recommend taking advantage of that and add an Instagram gallery on your homepage. Showcasing stunning shoppable Instagram galleries across your site will help to increase product discovery, drive inspiration, and boost sales. Currently, you have 130 publications and 1 042 followers. Link your profile on Instagram to your store and turn your profile visitors into customers.
