Hi everyone, I know it's something you probably see on this forum very often and I understand everyone are busy trying to build their business. However if you have a moment, can you please look into my store. I currently selling since last 40 days. I had my ups and downs. Overall not that bad. I don't lost money so far. Conversion rate in my story can fluctuate from 9% to 0.7% in span of few days. I don't know if this is because of value of the traffic or maybe my store design have a lot to do with this?

Store URL is: www.rheaglow.com

Please, if you can, share your thoughts.

Kind regards,

Rhea.

Hi @RheaR , thank you for posting here!

Once I visited your store, Love Gifts looked good, and I could tell you had put much effort into building it.
Because your store is new, social proof was one of the pain points. I wanted to share some successful tips on building trust for your store with you here that you might find useful:
  • Social Proof: add a live visitor counter, recent purchases, and just bought to get instant attention by showcasing a large number of store visitors
  • Sales Pop up: add a gamification box, and discount code with a countdown timer to make customers' purchases more fun and engaged with an animated gamification box
  • FOMO & Scarcity: add order, add-to-cart, sold count, low-stock alert to increase checkout rate with a sense of urgency
  • Cart Recovery: add flashing tab animation, cart abandonment alert, and comeback alert to convert abandoned carts into sales

=> All of those features can be added to your store with just an all-in-one Free social proof app from us, SnapNoti FOMO Visitor Counter.

I hope this recommendation will assist in enhancing your website's conversion rate.

Hi @RheaR,

Thanks for sharing your store and being open to feedback! I’d be happy to take a look and give you some insights on how to potentially improve your conversion rate.

I checked out your homepage, and here are a few quick suggestions that could help improve your conversion rate:

HOMEPAGE

1. Add a Button to the Hero Banner: Instead of just having an image with text, add a clear call-to-action button (like "Shop Now") to your hero banner. This makes it easy for visitors to click and start shopping right away.

2. Value Proposition: Ensure that your visitors know right away what makes your product unique. A more specific headline in the hero section about the benefits of the Soothing™ Ring would help. Example:

3. Social Proof: Consider adding more customer reviews or testimonials to the homepage. It builds trust for first-time visitors.

PRODUCT PAGE

1. Add a secondary CTA for hesitant buyers, like “Learn More” or “See How It Works” to guide them down the page.

2. Add Scarcity & Urgency Elements:

  • While the "Limited Time Deal" is good, adding a stock counter or a countdown timer can further amplify urgency.
  • You could also try phrases like “Only X items left” or “Almost Sold Out” if relevant.

3. Trust Badges & Guarantees:

  • Adding trust badges near the "Add to Cart" button (like “100% Satisfaction Guaranteed” or “Free Shipping”) can reassure users about their purchase.
  • Display a money-back guarantee near the CTA if you offer it.

I hope these suggestions are helpful. Best of luck with your store, and keep striving for improvement!

Cheers,

Kate | PageFly team

Hi @RheaR

I apologize if this sounds harsh but you wanted an honest review. To me, that looks like a complete scam and a fake site that I would recommend to everyone to run away.

Why, well first that ring itself sounds like something to draw cash from people with real pain, one that would try to buy anything for some relief.

And that product claims a lot without any backup, no medical studies, and no real documents that clearly say it passed some medical inspection

by regulatory agencies like the FDA in the US or the CE mark in EU. Your terms mention that the governing law of Ireland. So "In Ireland, medical devices are regulated under the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA), which oversees compliance with EU medical device regulations, specifically the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) (EU 2017/745)."

Now, about the design. like @CoachGabor mentioned, your home page has an oversized banner with a 40% discount and a product with no description so you have no idea what it does. Then that 40% discount is one red flag, that scammers use a lot. Even if it was any other product, the price sounds like to good to be true. And the product page, first, the title is Soothig TM or ArthriEase TM? Not clear. Then those fake reviews, where you even do not display the text itself. You could have 5000 5-star reviews it does not matter. Plus in "Loved by our customers"  you have both Tina and Jane with the same image.

And buy more to save more is also one more red flag, that scammers use a lot to get more money. And other sections too, there is a comparison table but other rings do not mean anything.

Lastly, there is no contact or business information except an info email. That is one good thing, as most just use some Gmail email.

And while searching for the same product online I saw a bunch of similar stores with the same scammy tactics. It is a shame how some people

are earning money.

Kind regards

Don't apologize for something I asked for. I didn't design or choose product for my store. I paid a  company to do this for me. I'm very new in this business and don't really meet any scammers or have any experience with them. I will immediately try to find different agency and also different product. I don't want to people think my brand is a scam. Thank you very much for a honest review and insight.

I do hope you find something better and make it your own. It is hard to start with something, needs a lot of work and following a good practices.

Good luck.

Hi @RheaR

I checked out your store Rhea Glow and took a close look at both your design and potential factors affecting your conversion rate. First off, it’s great that you haven’t lost money so far—definitely a good sign for a new store. However, the huge fluctuation in your conversion rate (from 9% down to 0.7%) is something worth investigating. This could be due to inconsistent traffic quality, store design issues, or checkout friction.

1. Store Design & User Experience

  • First Impression: Your store has a clean, modern look, which works well for the skincare niche. However, the hero section feels a bit generic—consider adding a stronger unique selling proposition (USP) right at the top.
  • Navigation & Speed: Your menu is straightforward, but your product pages take a few seconds to load. You might want to compress images and check Shopify’s speed optimization recommendations to avoid drop-offs.
  • Product Pages: You have a decent layout, but your descriptions are a bit short. People buy skincare based on ingredients, benefits, and trust—so consider adding:
    • More in-depth benefits & ingredient breakdowns (why each ingredient is good for the skin)
    • Social proof (before/after images, customer testimonials)
    • Urgency triggers (e.g., “Limited stock” or “Only X left” badges)

2. Traffic Quality & Conversion Rate Fluctuations

  • Paid Ads or Organic Traffic? If your traffic is coming from paid ads (like Meta or TikTok), the quality of traffic can change based on your targeting, ad creatives, or algorithm shifts. If one day you attract highly interested buyers, and the next day your ads hit a cold audience, this could explain the drastic conversion rate drop.
  • Bounce Rate Check: If visitors are leaving quickly, it might be due to:
    • Unclear value proposition
    • Slow load time
    • Mismatch between ad expectations and the landing page

3. Checkout & Trust Signals

  • Trust Badges & Secure Checkout: I noticed that while your site looks professional, you’re not emphasizing trust signals enough. Consider adding:
    • Money-back guarantee or clear return policy section on product pages
    • Payment security badges (Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.)
    • A few more customer reviews—ideally with photos

4. Action Plan to Improve Conversions

  • Run a heatmap analysis (via Hotjar) to see where people drop off on your product pages.
  • Test different product page formats to see which design converts better.
  • Check your ad targeting & analytics to understand if certain traffic sources convert better than others.
  • Improve product descriptions & add reviews for trust-building.

If you need any other assistance, feel free to ask, and I will try my best to support you.
Best regards,
Daisy.
