I recently paid someone to build my store and I am really new to this Ecommerce business and would like to be able to put in work on how to run this store, any tips or pointers would be appreciated

You can highlight your sale products by using badges, stickers: sale, flash sale, discount... With a beautifully designed and creative watermark, maybe this will be the part to help you impress your viewers strongly.
