Feedback for your online store from the community
Happy Tuesday Shopify community! I am looking for feedback on my website. I average nearly 100 visitors per day, but my conversion rate it hovering around 0.65%. How could I improve this rate? Is there something on my website that would deter customers from completing a purchase? A fresh set of eyes and any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks! www.kpcollectibles.com
In my opinion, there are many reasons that make customers decide to not purchase.
After reviewing with the marketing and designer team, I have the following comments.
1. Menu can be thought of as a mega menu to better navigate customers as well as help customers have more ideas about each category.
2. The current homepage is still sketchy and not really impressive enough to create trust from customers. 70% of customers leave the website after they review and have no feelings about the home page.
you can add some sections like
+ Category list
+ Featured products
+ Add promotional or event information if any
+ Add social media channels
3. Designing a clean product list on the homepage is not really clear and professional.
4. In the footer you should add additional information such as shipping, certificates if any and improve the UI of this area

Google's score and site performance are currently at an average level, which directly affects customer experience as well as SEO. You should pay attention to this issue and improve it soon to help customers increase their experience.
In fact, customers will leave as soon as they wait 3 seconds. Many of the websites we support have similar problems
Mobile should around 75 score and 90 score for desktop.
As I see this site you can make it better.
This is only our suggestion for home page. If you have time I can make a quick meeting also help you make an audit for your site.

Hi @kpcollectibles ,
This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.
Congratulations on your new store! It looks amazing and it's clear you've worked hard on it. I'd love to share some suggestions as hereby:
1. Add favicon to your store
A unique favicon helps your store stand out and be easily recognizable to customers:
2. Avoid blank space on the page
To improve the visual appeal of the page on laptops, consider adding more products to the empty space. This will help fill it up and create a more engaging layout.
3. Add more information on the footer
Here are some common information you might consider including:
4. Add testimonial - customer reviews
5. Prepare for holiday campaign
I noticed that you are running a Halloween campaign. You might want to consider adding an announcement section:
The announcement section is dedicated to sharing essential updates regarding shipping, discounts, and ongoing promotional campaigns for the store. Additionally, featuring a countdown timer serves as a helpful prompt for customers to make swift decisions.

Hi @kpcollectibles ,
Kate's here. I have checked your store again, and it looks great now, but I still find some blank spaces in these areas:
On laptop:
On mobile:
You can consider adding more products to the empty space too.
Best regards,

Hi! One way to improve conversion rate is to find out where you are actually getting your converting visitors and which one of your marketing efforts give the best leads. You can accomplish this by installing a post-purchase marketing attribution survey app and ask your customers where they are coming from. Once you have enough data, focus effort on the marketing channel that's brining you the most qualified visitors. I hope this helps 🙂
