Are you checking if traffic is coming through?
It's really not a shopify issue if not. If you just started and have tiny social media account, you probably need to do some heavier social media marketing.

Hi @Techandstuffs,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

I've checked out your store and really like your products. Based on my extensive knowledge in CRO, I recommend the following suggestions to improve your conversion rates:

1. Have a more straightforward hero banner

I observed that your homepage currently lacks a hero banner. Incorporating a banner could be a significant enhancement.  It's a large banner at the top of the page, and you can use it to show off your main product and talk about your store's vision.  This addition could greatly enhance the user experience and the overall aesthetic appeal of your homepage.

2. Add store favicon

Adding a favicon, to your store makes it more unique and helps customers recognize it easily:

3. Incorporate a shoppable social media feed into your store

A growing number of customers are choosing to buy through social media rather than traditional online shopping sites. Since you have already made posts on your social media, you can showcase them on your homepage.

A shoppable image gallery serves three purposes:

  • Provides an interactive destination for viewers to engage with.
  • Enhances the appeal of the product by showcasing styling options.
  • Simplifies the shopping experience by enabling purchases directly from the images.

4. Resize for the header

Currently, the header occupies two-thirds of the page, which can make it difficult for customers to concentrate on the products you offer. You can consider resizing it for better focus.

5. Add payment method on product page

Customers can see payment options right on the product page and buy immediately, making their shopping experience quicker and more convenient.

6. Add shipping and return information on the footer

Offer transparent details about shipping durations, fees, and return procedures. This clarity builds trust and lessens any hesitation to purchase.

7. Run holiday promotion

With Valentine's Day fast approaching, you have a perfect chance to boost sales, given that your products make great gifts. Use this occasion to attract customers searching for the ideal Valentine's present. Here's a straightforward strategy for a Valentine's Gift Section:

  • Set Up a Countdown Timer: Place a timer on your website for time-limited Valentine’s Day offers. This sense of urgency motivates people to buy before time runs out.
  • Initiate Valentine's Day Deals: Start promotions like 'buy one, get one free', discounts for couples, or special sets for two. These deals appeal to shoppers seeking value in their gifts.
  • Promote with Google Ads: Use Google Ads to publicize your Valentine’s Day offers. It’s a great method to reach a broader audience actively looking for Valentine's gifts and direct them to your store.
  • Make sure your website and advertisements are optimized for mobile use: As an increasing number of people shop using their smartphones, it's essential to ensure that both your website and advertising landing pages are mobile-friendly.

These tips are a bit long, but please read them all the way through. Best of luck with your business. Keep doing great work!

Hi Techandstuffs,

This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App

First of all, congratulations on launching your store! I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase your conversion rate:

1. Reorganizing. Currently in the "about us" section, some info should be in the footer. Instead use the "about us" section to tell what your brand story is about. Why did you decide to sell what you are selling? What is your competitive advantage?

2. Connect Social Media. If you are drop shipping and have some samples at hand, it would be more effective to create product videos for social media -- showing off how good the products are. Once you have an Instagram account with interesting content, it would help to connect the feed to your main site, thus giving it more social proof. Research shows that 76% of customers buy products seen on social media posts.

3. Testimonials. Try to showcase at least 5 testimonials on your site. Whether it's from friends and family, or your offline store customers. Having some social proof helps boost consumer confidence in your site.

4. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Hope this helps!

Hey,

Besides what the other people already mentioned, you have to redesign your site a bit because currently, it is this basic Shopify design, which most new stores have. Additionally, I am obviously biased here as an app developer, but you need social proof. I know you don't have any reviews yet on your product, so try out Platoria AI reviews app from the Shopify store. It will work very well with the products you offer and has a free plan.

All the best and good luck!

All the best,
Stan
