Hi everyone,

 

Would love some feedback on my website to see how I can improve it. There is always ways make to your website better and convert at a higher rate and would be interested to hear from others in the community on their thoughts and recommendations.

Generally, I love your store’s design, it looks classic but professional. From my CRO expertise, I’d like to give you my suggestions as hereby:

 

1. Have a sticky header

If your website visitors are looking for a particular product while browsing, what's the usual action they would take? They might have to scroll all the way up to the page's top in order to find the search bar, which can be a bit of an inconvenience. However, this issue can be addressed by introducing a sticky header, significantly improving the ease of navigation for your customers

Another thing you might care is that the sticky header with the current logo might take significant space while scrolling with the logo above the navigation buttons. So I would like to suggest that you resize the logo and place the logo alongside the navigation buttons in the same row to save more space to showcase the products.

2. Change hero banner

The banner or video in this section holds immense importance in hero material. It's the very first element that greets visitors upon entering your website. Let's ensure that consumers instantly grasp what you offer within a mere five seconds.

Unfortunately, the current banner seems to focus on showing logos instead of your products. That’s why I suggest you change it, and if possible, please make sure that the image is in high quality.

3. Add CTA button to hero banner

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.

With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, a product page, etc.

It’s such a loss when you missed a “Shop now” button on your banner. A CTA button here will urge visitors to make the purchase and it is a great way to optimize your home page.

And kindly rest assured that all CTA buttons should have the same styling to boost the conversion rate.

4. Highlight sale campaign

As you can see in my screenshot, the sale is not quite outstanding.

  • Use color to differentiate between the original and the discounted prices
  • Add countdown timer to create FOMO effect

5. Invest on images and product information

In summary, incorporating high-quality product images increase conversion rates. You can effectively enhance conversions and drive business success by leveraging visual appeal, establishing trust, and creating an emotional connection with your visitors.

In these sections, you can try using images of product in reality/ in use/ with model, together with a list of detailed information about products that you want your customers to be aware of.

6. Instagram feed

Your Instagram content adds a fresh feel to your website by showing you’re active online and interacting with your customers.
