How can I fix the TikTok shop connection issue?

I have a business TikTok account and want to sell my products on TikTok. On shopify, after clicking set up now, and going to the next page. When I click "Connect Now" (shopify to Tiktok) a blank pop up appears and then nothing keeps lagging. Tried on desktop and phone same issue, screenshot below. How to resolve?

The TikTok integration is actually supported by TikTok directly, but I'd like to share some info that you might find helpful here.

 

Check out their guide to setting up TikTok for use with Shopify here first and let us know at which point you encounter this issue.

 

You mentioned a screenshot here, but there doesn't appear to be an image attached so let us know if you're able to share this, please!

 

Let me know in which country your store is based, so we can check it against the list of countries supported for use.

 

You can also reach out to TikTok support using the contact info here on the app store page to see if they can clarify what might be the root cause of the issue.

I used aftership feed for TikTok shop and it worked for me. Now I’m connected

Thank you - I switch browsers from Safari to Google Chrome and it worked without having to use aftership feed.

Hi,

 

I am running into the same issue and have been trying for weeks. I switched different browsers, Google Chrome didn't work for me....couldn't even load TikTok App. When I used FireFox, I stuck at the same step. A blank pop-up screen when I click CONNECT. Please help...anyone? Thanks!

Hi - I got in touch with the TikTok support team and this is what they shared. (I had been having the same issue and now it's moving to the sign in screens).

 

We understand that you are experiencing issues with your TikTok Shop Seller Center. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and would like to assist you in resolving this issue.

To begin with, we recommend the following basic troubleshooting steps:
  • Clear the cache and cookies on your current browser, or use an incognito window.
  • Log out and then log back into your US TikTok Shop seller account again.
  • Ensure you are not using a VPN service

Thank you so much for your help! I followed with the solutions you provided on TikTok. I did get to move on to the next step to log in but got stuck at the login screen after entering the user name & password. I tried both to use email and phone number to log in. I kept getting unexpected error messages. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!

When I tried incognito I was able to make it to the login screens after only getting blanks like everyone here.

None of the above steps have worked for me. Anyone find a real solution yet? Here’s what I’ve tried:

 

four different devices

changing my internet/ trying on cellular

uninstalling and reinstalling (all tt and shopify apps)

deleting and recreating my accounts

no vpns active

no browser add ins

cleared cache on tik tok/ browsers

tried in app as well as on safari/chrome/incognito

restarting my phone

logging off all apps and logging back in an various order

spent an hour with customer support (he can see it on his end but i can never see it)

 

anyone try anything else that has helped?

I fixed it using datech shopsync, which is also free to use and doesn't have those annoying problems!😣

What I found is that that free version is having these issues, however, the paid version is working just fine … smh

What worked for me is adding cookie exceptions for both shopify.com and tiktok.com in my browser settings. You want to accept ALL cookies from both domains.

SO i actually solved the problem !!! I wanted to help others with this. 

Ive been dealing with the same issue for 2 days and realized i just needed to delete my second store on shopify that appears in your up right corner where you see the name of your store. I had my second store opened accidentally but it was on a free trial. No idea how it happened but as soon as i officially deleted it i was able to connect it to tiktok shop! Make sure you choose the right account before deleting. Hop it helps, everyone! Good luck with the sales:)
