Feedback for your online store from the community
Hey everyone!
I have a relatively new website: www.roxbox.co.nz
I find the conversion rate to be quite low (<1%), despite my ads doing a decent job or sending traffic to the site. My products are sold within NZ only - and the ads are targeted to an nz customer base.
If anyone has time to take a look around and give me some recommendations for how to improve the website that would be super helpful! I work in marketing but sometimes you have to know when to admit you need a hand!
Hi @FNANZ
I am Garcia from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder App. From my CRO expertise, I have some feedback for your Store and hope that they can help you increase the design.
1. Resize the header
In 5 seconds, the hero banner is often the first thing visitors see when they land on your website, so it's essential to make sure that all the content is fully shown.
Moreover, the hero banner is an ideal location for a primary call-to-action. Adding a link to the CTA button or text in the banner can guide users to the next step you want them to take, such as signing up, making a purchase, or exploring specific sections of your website.
2. Add CTA buttons
By including a CTA button on the possible sections, you enhance the overall user experience. This makes it easier for users to find the information they need and complete their purchase. This can be done by streamlining the checkout process, making it easier to access product information, and providing clear and concise instructions. By making the shopping experience more convenient and efficient, you can increase customer satisfaction and boost sales.
3. Add product media
Images will provide a better understanding of the product's appearance, features, and functionality. They allow customers to see the product from different angles, helping them make more informed purchasing decisions.
4. Prepare for Back-To-School season
In addition, take advantage of the promotion campaigns available from now until the end of the year. This presents a significant opportunity to achieve a higher Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) by adequately preparing for the upcoming holidays. If you haven't made preparations for the Back-To-School season, there's no need to fret. You still have ample time to capitalize on this opportunity. To get started, here are some helpful suggestions:
If you feel my answer is helpful, like it or give it a thumb up. Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers!

Hello @FNANZ,
Greetings! I am Gina from the flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $7Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
I've taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can increase sales.
1. Consider adding a Home page link in the header menu.
While most users are probably aware that the logo is usually a Home link, certainly everyone doesn't.
2. Display store's contact info like phone number, email address, and office address in the Contact Us page.
3. Testimonials in the Home page are a good way to increase the trust and will influence the purchasing decision. Also, provide the customers' full name, and profile photo of them to add authenticity and credibility.
4. Add a FAQ page to provide information on frequent questions or concerns
5. Add Buy Now button which will simplify the purchasing process for consumers, improving their customer experience.
6. Add CTA button like Shop Now, Buy Now in the Home page header banner
The Call To Action(CTA) is a key element on a webpage, acting as a signpost that lets the user know what to do next. Without a clear CTA, the user may not know the next steps to take to purchase a product or sign up for a newsletter and is likely to leave the site without accomplishing their task.
7. Eliminate the "Powered by Shopify" message found in the footer and incorporate your own branding into the footer of your store.
Don't hesitate to ask if you need any further clarification.
