Hey guys! I've been working on my website, jolsters.shop, for a while now and I need some advice on improving or if it looks ready to go. Thanks in advance.

And, congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning and professional, and I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

 

1. Add more Add to cart buttons

The Add to Cart button is the most critical thing we recommend you include. Users will be able to fill up their shopping carts in one session and then complete the purchase transaction without entering the product page. It will undoubtedly increase your conversion.

2. Consider reducing the size of the video 

Videos on websites can't be too big mainly due to a few reasons:

  • Loading Time: Large video files take longer to download and buffer. 
  • Bandwidth: Videos consume a significant amount of bandwidth when being streamed or downloaded. 
  • Mobile Devices: Many users access websites from mobile devices with varying network speeds and data plans. 
  • User Experience: Websites strive to provide a smooth and engaging user experience. If visitors encounter constant buffering or slow loading times due to large videos, they might leave the site and look for alternatives.

3. Include direct links in the footer to the "Shipping Info" pages.

Users, in my opinion, need to know about the site's return policy and shipping choices before making a purchase decision. It might go in the footer or in this Shipping Details link. Users' need to learn about the return policy is directly linked to shipping information – how much would they lose on any non-refundable shipping expenses if they have to return a product? In fact, some consumers value shipping information so much that they want to know what shipping alternatives are available to them before they commit to purchasing a product.

4. Avoid having negative space

Currently, there are a lot of blank spaces on the left side and below the product media. If you use too much negative space, it overwhelms and distracts from your positive space. Your web design focus isn't clear, your audience is distracted, and it will affect sales.

My suggestion is to add custom code to make the product media section sticky when you scroll down.

5. Run a holiday sales promotion.

Running a promotion for holiday sales is a great way to attract more customers looking for special gifts or accessories. Here are some creative promotion ideas to make your holiday promotions a success:

  • BFCM Discounts: Offer a special discount exclusively for clients. This could be a flat percentage off or a tiered discount based on the total purchase amount.
  • Free Gift with Purchase: Offer a free, smaller jewelry item with every purchase over a certain amount. This encourages customers to spend more to receive the added value.
  • Social media marketing: Leverage social media platforms to promote your holiday offers and engage with your audience. Run festive-themed campaigns, share user-generated content, and interact with customers to build brand loyalty.

I think the store design is too generic and unprofessional. If you want to go long term, you should redesign the whole store.
