Re: Website review

How can I improve my new dropshipping website for better conversions?

Hello all, we are new to shopify and dropshipping and are in need for some review from you.

We started this all towards the beginning of august and we are trying to get our first sale. I completely understand that these things can take time but I just want to make sure that we can do everything possible to perfect the website. Currently we are running ads and are driving roughly 200 visitors to the website each day, none of these however are converting to sales.

As mentioned we are new and would love some constructive criticism on anything that you could find which we can improve. The site is still a work in progress and we are planning on adding more to it by the day.

The website URL is: www.poshpodsofficial.com

Thank you for your time and hopefully you can find something that would steer us in the right direction.

Hi there,

I would first take a look at your stats. What do I mean by this? You should check how many of those visits go beyond the product page and add to the cart or get to the checkout section. That should give you an idea of where the "problem' is.

Regarding your homepage, I would suggest you create a clear CTA in the main banner, and if it is located above the fold line even better.

I hope this helps!

Hello,

Hope you are doing great! We appreciate your enthusiasm in the world of Shopify and dropshipping, and we're here to provide you with constructive feedback and suggestions to help you improve your website and increase your chances of making that first sale.

Firstly, congratulations on taking the initiative and actively driving traffic to your website. It's an essential step, and you've already accomplished that. Now, let's dive into some recommendations to enhance your website and boost conversions:

  1. Professional Design of the website:
After reviewing your current store, http://www.poshpodsofficial.com/, I feel it is lagging behind user interaction and the ease with which a customer can purchase a product. Having a user-friendly design that builds the customer's trust is a crucial factor in this journey.
  2. Search Engine Optimization:
SEO plays a vital role in generating leads on the website. The website appears to have a low SEO score, so our focus should be on addressing the SEO-related issues and bringing the website on the first page of Search Engines.
  3. Paid Ads:
Once the website is on the first page on various keywords, the next target should be running paid ads like Google Ads, Meta Ads, and others. It is a paid method but will generate more sales than your investment.
  4. Conversion Rate Optimization:
Once the above three things are in the proper place and are getting you customers and traffic and are helping to generate sales, The last step is CRO. It will maximize the number of customers and sales through several CRO strategies resulting in giving a boom in your sales.

By applying these 4 strategies at the correct time will generate sales and traffic on your website.

If you have any specific questions or need further assistance with any aspect of your website or marketing strategy, please feel free to ask. We're here to help you succeed.

Hey @PoshPods.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate the context that you have shared with us as that is super helpful! Looking into your online store, I noticed that you currently do not have a favicon added to your homepage. A favicon is a small image that displays on the browser tab and represents the company/business. If you take a look at your browser tabs - I am sure that you will see several favicons! You can add a favicon to your online store by following this guide here

What do you think about including a slideshow section as the first section under the header menu? As this could allow you to showcase more of your products in the slides. For example, you could include your best seller or favorite product in the slides - or, a demo video of how the product works in the slideshow. This is a great way to make the homepage more interactive and engaging and allow your visitors to learn more about the products available without having to scroll.

Let me know what you think.
