Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello everyone,
I just launched my store earlier this month. I would love to get feedback from you all. If you could please throw out any ideas or recommendations I would truly appreciate it. This is my first store I've ever made so if you could explain your thoughts in detail that would be great, thank you again! If email is better to share thought or pictures feel free contact me at imagineDF1@outlook.com.

Hi NanasBedBuddies,
This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.
What a lovely store you have, and I love how the family messaging is front and center. I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase conversion rate:
1. Testimonials. Showcasing a few testimonials on your home page -- whether from online customers or family/friends, helps promote more consumer trust and confidence.
2. Revamping detail pictures. Your detail pictures are nice and uniform, however, it doesn't showcase how big the product is. Would be great to include modeling pictures -- like cuddling Nana's bed buddies in bed to show use case and how big the product is in perspective to a person.
3. List how to use and benefit. It was not immediately obvious when I visited the home page that this is something you can microwave and emit warmth. Perhaps some step-by-step can help potential customers understand your product better.
4. Adding a blog. We want more of Nana's story! Writing blogs about Nana or your product can help give an even more personal touch to the site and help with search engine optimization.
5. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.
Hope this helps!

Hey there,
Aleks from Consentmo here 🙂 Congratulations on the launch of your store! Below you can find my suggestions in regards to your website:
- Consider resizing the header for a more balanced look. You could reorder the navigation bar and adjust the logo's position as well. The additional information like "Free Shipping" and discount codes can be moved to a designated section.
- I suggest integrating a modern banner on the homepage, that way you would create a more dynamic and engaging atmosphere.
- Ensure proper spacing between sections on the homepage. That will help you avoid a crowded appearance and would improve the overall flow
- It would be better to slightly move up the product collection on the homepage for better visibility.
- I would recommend reorganizing the footer menu to match the main menu.
- Adding a testimonial section will help you building trust among customers. Showcasing the positive experiences is always a good step.
- For your Catalog page I would suggest including clear Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons like 'Add to Cart' or 'Buy Now' beneath each product.
- Improving the quality of the products' images would provide a more appealing visual experience for customers.
It's great that you offer a tracking option. I recommend implementing a feature where clicking on "Tracking" in the main menu opens it in a new tab. This way, the homepage remains open, and customers won't need to navigate back.
- Lastly, I would offer to increase your activity on social media - sharing product highlights, promotional deals, and discounts. Improve the organization of your Instagram grid for a cohesive and visually pleasing presentation. It would be nice to have a clear idea of how you would like to present your brand. Planning a social media calendar to strategically promote products, introduce your team, and communicate your brand's mission is a good start
I hope that this will help! Wish you a bunch of luck 🙂

Hi @NanasBedBuddies
Great job! I must say, it's really impressive, my friend. However, there might be a few areas we could fine-tune to make it even more valuable. Let's explore these points together. I'm Garcia, from the PageFly team.
1. Redesign the logo, recommend to use Logo with transparent background, which will be better to use everywhere in your website, even with the package. A transparent logo can be easily placed on any background without the need for additional design adjustments. This flexibility simplifies the design process and allows for more creative freedom in layout and composition.
2. Choose the most attractive font for the Headline, and another easy-to-read for Paragraph.
a. Reduce the height of the Header:
- A tall header pushes essential content below the initial viewport, requiring users to scroll down to reach it, which increase your interaction cost
- A long header can make the page appear more intimidating and time-consuming to navigate. This can discourage users from engaging with the content and potentially lead to higher bounce rates.
b. Put the promotion on Announcement bar, and stick the bar on the head
c. Redesign Hero Banner
d. Choose other dark color, instead of white. Not use the Light purple and White
e. Add testimonial section
f. Do not use ACCORDION for benefit section. Use the layout as below is proved to deliver higher sales
a. Fix a few locations where you place the product and take photos of it. They need to be synchronized in context and lighting. Maintaining a consistent visual aesthetic across product placements and photos creates a sense of cohesion and professionalism.
b. Add in-use photos: Placing product photos in relevant contexts allows customers to envision how the product would look or function in their own lives. This contextual relevance can spark interest and encourage purchase decisions.
c. Add ALT Text for each image: Alt text helps search engines understand the content and context of images, increasing the likelihood of your images appearing in relevant image search results. This can drive more traffic to your website and potentially lead to more conversions.
d. You can get familiar with reaching customers through short videos, add short videos into your page. In fact, studies have shown that short videos have a higher engagement rate than any other type of content on social media. This is because short videos are able to capture people's attention quickly and effectively, and they can also convey a lot of information in a short amount of time.
a. Interactive elements: Add interactive elements like quizzes, polls, or fun holiday-themed games to engage visitors and keep them on your site longer.
b. Holiday specials and offers: Offer exclusive holiday promotions, discounts, or special deals to entice customers. Highlight these offers prominently on your website to catch the attention of potential buyers.
Hope it helps,
Garcia

Here are a few things at first glance:
-One big thing is I would not really know what your product is even after viewing the entire homepage. This was the only way I was able to figure it out:
-I would take some of the details from the "About Nana" page and add it under the "Nana Knows Best" section on the homepage.
-Work on the overall design of the store, maybe adjust the colors somewhat and add a blog to your store
-Use social media to drive traffic and push sales in your store
I hope that helps!
