Feedback for your online store from the community
We have had our store live for a couple of months now, and although we seem to be getting traffic to the store, we have not had many orders. Please can someone check our store out, and advise what we are doing wrong, or need to change? www.bradgategrangeonline.com

Hi DeeJay2,
This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App.
First of all your landing page does seem clean and professional. Here are a coupon of suggestions for improving conversion.
1. Add more products to your landing page. Make sure that you add "add to cart" or other call-to-action buttons under each of your products.
2. Add more pictures to your products. I clicked on some of your products and noticed that there aren't a lot of pictures associated. More info would be appreciated! Look of product, measurements, use cases, photos from customers etc.
3. Add shipping information. Since you are selling heavy products, might help ease consumers into purchasing if you have somewhat transparent information about shipping costs etc. Do you also ship overseas or domestically? Any discounts for purchases over a certain amount?
4. Ask your customers for feedback! And make sure to take actions on those feedbacks. Since you have made some sales, find out where your customers are coming from (which marketing channel), what they think of your products, etc. You can even reward them with coupons or points incentives for participating. You can easily install a Shopify survey app via the app store.
I hope this helps!

Hi
I think a big barrier to purchase is the lack of information on delivery costs, especially as most of the items are big and heavy. Set up a dedicated shipping information page (and link to it in the footer). Also clearly feature delicery information below the Add to Cart button on product details pages.
Also, try and increase trust by adding trust icons to products like "money-back guarantee, returns, SSL security, secure checkout, free exchanges, and 24/7 customer support. ". Customer reviews are essential to reinforce trust and help shoppers make purchase decisions.
Hope that helps

Hey @DeeJay2.
Thanks for reaching out.
I appreciate that you have provided your online store URL for us to explore!
Looking into your store, I noticed that you are not using an announcement bar to welcome your visitors to your homepage. You could add an announcement bar to inform your visitors of any ongoing discounts or free-shipping offers that may be available. It is a great way to get your visitors browsing through the available collections or products.
I did want to bring to your attention that you have a duplicated picture and call to action messages on the slideshow. I would suggest creating each slide on the slideshow to be unique as this can make the homepage more engaging and interactive.
Let me know if you have any questions.
