Solved

How can I improve my online store offering digital templates and bridal tutorials?

Hi, I was hoping to receive feedback on my store. I like the simplicity and ease of navigation, and I believe it has everything my customers would need. However, I would appreciate any additional feedback you may have. My store offers business digital templates, a online bridal masterclas tutorial and booking forms.

Hi @Kellsie ,

Congrats on your new store! From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

1. Make the header sticky

Sticky headers allow customers to easily access menu navigation regardless if they scroll down or up on your page. Customers can also use the sticky header to quickly reach the product search area.

2. Use a banner for the hero content - Draw attention within 5 seconds

“Hero content” refers to the key message or the key offering being delivered to visitors on a page, usually the homepage.

Hero content is a simple and straightforward way to instantly captivate visitors. It can be either a static image or a slideshow and it usually comes up at the top of the page.

3. Add testimonial - customer reviews

Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.

Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online.

1. Use colors palette associated with Mother’s Day

This kind of change makes your store more welcoming. You can refer to these pairs of colors:

  • Pastel Pink and Green: This color palette is soft, delicate, and feminine, making it a popular choice for Mother's Day. It includes shades of light pink, blush, and pale green, which evoke feelings of tenderness, love, and springtime.
  • Red and White: This classic color combination is timeless and elegant, and it's often used to symbolize the love and appreciation we have for our mothers. It's a bold and impactful color palette that can be used to create a variety of different designs.
  • Lilac and Light Blue: This color palette is soft and soothing, with shades of pale purple and blue that are reminiscent of springtime flowers and clear skies. It's a calming and peaceful color palette that's perfect for creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere on Mother's Day.

2. Offer special discounts

Create special deals during Mother’s Day event like bundle or 1+1 offer is one of the best ways to boost your sales. You can highlight them on your homepage to be visible as soon as visitors reach your page and make it easy to navigate through your product offerings.

3. Create gift guides or a special section with product recommendations.

Creating gift guides or a product recommendation section can help increase engagement and sales on your Mother's Day landing page. By organizing products by categories and themes, you can make it easier for shoppers to find the perfect gift for their mothers. Including product descriptions, images, and customer reviews can also help improve the shopping experience and boost conversion rates.

Dear Dan,

I would like to express my gratitude for taking the time to review my page. Your input is truly appreciated. Regarding the 404 page, it will not be active until tomorrow when the product goes live.

Best

Yes, we received some help in developing the website as I moved over from Squarespace. I want to keep the site simple and easily accessible for my viewers, but I will definitely look to incorporate the advice I have received

Hi there, @Kellsie!

Thanks for reaching out for feedback on your store here.

I can see you've already had a bunch of input from the Community, that's great!

I agree with your assessment of your store being clear and easy to navigate, no notes there.

Could you tell me a bit about what you're doing to market your store thus far?

As this is an already-established business, do you have some social proof or an existing social following you can leverage for your store?

In fact, if you're taking a business you've already worked on a great deal online for the first time, you might want to consider having a professional help you with finishing setup and adding some design polish.

If so, you can browse our Experts Marketplace here for Shopify Partners with a proven track record of excellent work in their areas.

Let me know what you're working on for your store so we can help out further, please!
