Hi @369

This is Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app

Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning and professional, and I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. I understand that experiencing creating a website on your own can be frustrating. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

1. Check pagespeed for your store:

According to the Google Pagespeed Insights, the pagespeed of your homepage is 40 for mobile and 73 for desktop. This score is quite low for a page. If your stores have a low loading time, then your visitors won’t stick around and they will bounce. Stated differently, if your stores have a longer time checkout, your customers can give up. Pages load slowly gives people more time to change their minds.

These are some ways for you to apply to make your store run faster and quickly as well as reduce the loading time:

  • Optimize your images
  • Reduce server requests and remove excess apps
  • Fix server errors
  • Lazy loading
  • Reduce server requests and remove excess apps

And you can try to improve these factors suggested by Google PageSpeed Insights here:

2. Homepage

2.1 Reduce header height

  • The header menu is taking too much space when customers first access your store. This is not a good impression for them. You can try to reduce the header height to make it easier to scan your homepage.

2.2 Add testimonial - customer reviews

  • Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
  • Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product review to the page in ease ways

You can take a look at one of our template for here:

3. Product page - Display a minimum of 6 reviews by default and allow users to submit reviews

  • Normally, users often rely on reviews to judge a product besides product detail descriptions and other info given by a site since they consider them more legit and authentic. I would recommend you display reviews on your product page (with a minimum of 6 reviews with the ability to “Load more” and allow users to submit their reviews.

Additionally, with Mother's Day 2023 fast approaching, also ranked as the third most significant holiday following Black Friday and Christmas, it is an opportune time to consider some compelling concepts for your business to take full advantage on this occasion.

1. Use colors palette associated with Mother’s Day

This kind of change makes your store more welcoming. You can refer to these pairs of colors:

  • Pastel Pink and Green: This color palette is soft, delicate, and feminine, making it a popular choice for Mother's Day. It includes shades of light pink, blush, and pale green, which evoke feelings of tenderness, love, and springtime.
  • Red and White: This classic color combination is timeless and elegant, and it's often used to symbolize the love and appreciation we have for our mothers. It's a bold and impactful color palette that can be used to create a variety of different designs.
  • Lilac and Light Blue: This color palette is soft and soothing, with shades of pale purple and blue that are reminiscent of springtime flowers and clear skies. It's a calming and peaceful color palette that's perfect for creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere on Mother's Day.

2. Offer special discounts

Create special deals during Mother’s Day event like bundle or 1+1 offer is one of the best ways to boost your sales. You can highlight them on your homepage to be visible as soon as visitors reach your page and make it easy to navigate through your product offerings.

3. Create gift guides or a special section with product recommendations.

Creating gift guides or a product recommendation section can help increase engagement and sales on your Mother's Day landing page. By organizing products by categories and themes, you can make it easier for shoppers to find the perfect gift for their mothers. Including product descriptions, images, and customer reviews can also help improve the shopping experience and boost conversion rates.

I hope my recommendations will be beneficial for you. Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Richard | PageFly Team

Hi @369, very impressive store!

As a potential customer, one of the things that I want to see are pictures. I want to see real people holding, handling, manufacturing or displaying the product. Have customers take some pics, or send it to influencers. If I'm spending that much on a watch, I want to see who my money is going to, who's making it, where they're making it, and how. The about page is very well done, but I feel a little disconnected.

Overall I think your brand has huge potential. I could totally rock one of your pieces! Whether you're making them in house or wholesaling, I think you will see huge success. Good luck!

Hello @369 ,

Your website already looks beauitful with high quality visuals and storytelling content. I can see the hard work behind on creating the brand and I'm sure 369 will succeed. I would like to make some suggestions to enhance the design further:

Header & Banner:

You have a great video banner that gives off a premium feeling. However header takes up too much space and doesn't let the banner stand out.

  • I'd suggest moving the logo or menu to the left side so the header is on one line instead of two.
  • In addition, have your header transparent on welcome, then change it to grey if the user has scrolled.

See the difference of how it would look:

Hover effects:

  • It's good to add zoom effect on image hover, however I believe the focus is too close to the product. In addition, you can add the same effect to product pages, instead of having to click for zoom.
  • Buttons should have a hover effect to add interactivity so the user knows it's a clickable element.
  • Some buttons have hover effect but instead of changing from red to green, I'd suggest changing to a red hue or switch text-background colors. I see that you want to keep green as a brand color but red-green combination is hard to pull off and doesn't form harmony when used next to each other.

  • I'd suggest using a darker red as primary color. Colors form a better harmony when they're closer in hue. Red is already an attention grabbing color, having combined with black - dark grey, it takes a bit from the premium felling. Your red watch has some dark red hues that goes well with black. You can use a free color picker tool to extract the color code.
  • On collection page, I'd suggest changing card content's background color to black, and the text to white. I don't think the sudden change to white goes well with the overall design.

Trust badges:

  • When the text is two line, button sticks to the bottom. Make sure there is a bottom padding on the card, and buttons should be on same line for integrity of the design.
  • Quality badge has low quality image. This happens due to "width:'50' height:'50'" attributes on the image, ends up being served with lower quality than it's original resolution. Shipping badge has "width:'100' height:'100'" resulting in better quality.

  • Free shipping on product page looks like a random text and doesn't grab attention. I'd suggest putting it below the care instructions as an accordion. It's a common approach used by many brands.

Section width:

  • Unless it's a specific design choice, make sure section widths are same for consistency.

I hope these help and good luck! Feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.
