I know my clothing brand has lots of potential because I have gotten huge orders in the past.

I would like some critique on it to help improve conversions.

Here is my website:

The brand is meant to be simple funny humor.

Hi @uzi91,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

I'm genuinely impressed, especially knowing you're just starting out. Your site has a stylish flair while remaining clean, clear, and professional. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions to improve your conversion rates:

1. Use a Sticky header for your page

PageFlyKate_0-1704248265733.png

Having a sticky header means that the navigation, logo, and icons will follow the user while they scroll down the page. This is really useful if you want to ensure that your customers will have easy access to your navigation at all times.

A sticky header in a Shopify store significantly enhances the user experience by consistently providing easy navigation and heightened brand visibility. It ensures key links, such as the main menu and shopping cart, are always accessible, offering convenience and reducing frustration. This constant accessibility can lead to increased user engagement, reduced bounce rates, and a more streamlined shopping experience. When designed effectively, it offers these benefits without overwhelming the page, particularly on mobile devices.

Note: Incorporating a sticky header into your Shopify store's design should be done with careful consideration of its size to ensure it doesn't occupy excessive space on the page. A disproportionately large header can obscure vital information, potentially hindering the customer's browsing experience. Therefore, it's essential to maintain a balance by designing a header that provides easy navigation and brand visibility while minimizing obstruction of the page content, especially during customer searches.

2. Provide 3-5 Images of Products from Multiple Angles

Always provide 3–5 images of products from multiple different angles.

Doing so helps users gain a similar holistic understanding of a product as if they were seeing the product in person. To achieve this goal, each angle displayed must be unique and reveal new information about the product.

Example:

3. Resize the video in your About Us page and check the text display

You should choose the video with high resolution and display it with full length same with your text length. Beside that your message should be more attractive if you can bold the main keyword instead of set Bold effect for all text as currently.

4. Use the CTA button for your first section(video/herobanner)

PageFlyKate_3-1704248265847.png

Using a Call-to-Action (CTA) button in the first section of an online store, particularly within a hero banner or accompanying a video, can be highly effective for several reasons:

  • Immediate Engagement: The first section of your website is the prime real estate for capturing visitor attention. Placing a CTA button here engages users right from the start, encouraging immediate interaction. Whether it’s to shop now, learn more, or view a product, a prominent CTA can effectively guide users to take the desired action early in their visit.
  • Increased Conversion Potential: The hero banner or video is often the most visually striking part of the page, drawing the user's attention instantly. A CTA button within this section capitalizes on that attention, potentially increasing the likelihood of conversions. By presenting a clear and compelling action at the moment of peak interest, you can guide visitors down the conversion funnel more effectively.
  • Clarity and Direction: A CTA in the first section provides clear direction to your visitors, eliminating guesswork about what to do next. It serves as a guide, directing them to the most important action you want them to take. This can be especially important in an online store where the goal is to streamline the path to purchase or highlight specific promotions or products.

5. Prepare for the holiday campaign

You should prepare for holiday campaign or campaign for some special day because these periods often see a significant surge in consumer spending. Tailored holiday promotions can capitalize on this increased shopping activity, driving higher sales, attracting new customers, and enhancing brand visibility. Effective preparation ensures that the store can meet the demand, maximize revenue potential, and provide a positive customer experience during these critical shopping seasons.

Example: Valentine's Day (February 14th) so you can start prepare for your campaign and do the campaign from the middle of January.

Use a Valentine's Day Template for the Store:

Customize your online store with a Valentine-themed template. This can include romantic color schemes (like reds and pinks), heart motifs, and love-related imagery. This thematic change creates a festive atmosphere, aligning with the spirit of Valentine's Day and encouraging customers to engage in the seasonal shopping experience.

Implement a Countdown Timer:

Add a countdown timer to your store, counting down to Valentine's Day. This creates a sense of urgency and can encourage quicker purchase decisions. The timer can be placed prominently on the homepage or product pages, especially highlighting limited-time offers or special Valentine's deals.

Apply Promotions and Sell in Combo:

Offer special Valentine's promotions such as discounts on purchases or exclusive deals when buying in combos (like 'buy one get one free' or 'his and hers' sets). This not only incentivizes purchases but also provides ideas for gifts, making the shopping process easier for customers looking for Valentine's gifts.

Hey @uzi91.

Thanks for reaching out.

When I navigated to your online store, I noticed that you currently do not have a favicon added to your homepage. A favicon is a small image that displays on the browser tab and represents the business/company. If you take a look towards your browser tabs - I am sure you will see several favicons. You can add a favicon to your online store by following this guide here

Add social media icons to the footer of the online store. This can provide your customers with brand consistency and can even help your customers feel more secure knowing they can reach out to the business across multiple platforms. You can add social media icons by navigating to the Theme Editor and selecting on the Theme Settings.
