Hey @Hhhsjs.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate that you have provided your online store URL as that is very helpful!

Looking into your store, I can see that you are using the announcement bar to inform your customers of any on going sales - that is a great idea to get your visitors browsing! What do you think about including a slideshow section on the homepage? You could potentially include your favorite product or best seller in the slides as an example. It would be a good way to make your homepage more interactive and engaging.

When taking a look at your store today I also noticed that you do not currently have a favicon set for your website. A favicon is a small square image that represents a website in web browser tabs. If you take a look at the top tab bar of your browser right now, I’m sure you’ll see several favicons! Typically, favicons feature a logo, the first letter of the company name or simply an image that reflects the specifics of the website it represents.

Adding a \f\\favicon to your online store can help strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. You can click on this link to read instructions on how to create and add your own favicon to your store.

Keep in mind that these images are displayed quite small, so it's good to keep in mind that the image you use should be readable at small sizes.

Let me know what you think.

Hi Amanda, I’m looking on iphone only, but I did not see material composition for the beach kimonos, which is for me the reason not to buy - when  I don’t have enough information about the product.

However I like them very much as well as some swimsuits which are original I think I’ll come back to purchase from you.☺️

wish you good continuation with your site

Hello Amanda @Hhhsjs,

Congrats on your store and my wishes for you to start making sales soon! I would like to make some suggestions to enhance your design:

Header & Banner:

First impressions are really crucial when it comes to online stores. You only have a few seconds to impress a customer, otherwise many will bounce off your store.

  • It's better to welcome your customers with a banner rather than a image-text section that doesn't look impressive. You can use the hero image from your product page.
  • In addition, have your header background transparent on first visit, then change it if the user has scrolled.

See the difference of how it would look:

Products & Collections:

  • Your featured collection is missing a title. Customers should know why those 4 products are listed and why they should be inclined to buy them.

ErayBarslan_0-1681497836583.png

  • As first image of a product, pick images with white background. This will help the overall consistency of design and pair better with the black background. At least try to pick products which you can achieve this for your featured products.
  • You have 13 products but many variations of the same product. You can split some of these into new products under one collection. For example:ErayBarslan_1-1681498648516.png

This product will look confusing to customers with the many options to pick from. You can organize kiminos that have same design under new product. This will help your store look richer with more products & collections and guide your customers easier. For example there are products with same Leaf pattern design that could make a "Beach Kimino - Leaf Pattern" product.

  • You should add description to your products. On what occasion they're meant to be used? What are the materials? What's the size of the product? So that customers know what they're exactly getting before proceeding with the purchase.

Storytelling:

  • Storytelling sections are extremely helpful to enhance overall design and build trust with customers. It also helps a lot with SEO.
  • You can talk about your brand and why customers should choose Today Swimwear products.
  • Write blogs. It can be anything related to swimwear. By having blogs, customers will know you're not just selling some products, but actually know about the industry and can guide them. And your store will have richer content.
  • You can replace the bottom image-text section of your home page with blogs that have CTA button. As it is, the section looks empty with a random image. Example of a blog section:
    ErayBarslan_4-1681500120850.png

Subscription:

  • Instead of giving away the discount code in your announcement, guide your customers to subscribe to your store. Once you start making sales, email campaigns will be crucial to your growth. So try to collect as many customer emails as you can from start.

I hope these help and good luck! Feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.

Hi @Hhhsjs

This is Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.

Congrats on your new store! From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions for your homepage:

  • Captivating hero banner:

The homepage plays a vital role in creating a lasting first impression on your customers. To achieve this, I recommend beginning with an eye-catching banner that not only showcases your brand but also effectively conveys your unique selling points.

PageFlyRichard_0-1681866674630.png

I suggest you use a banner on your product page for your home page. Including a quote and CTA button can help keep your customers' attention.

  • Having Favicon:

Favicon will help customers remember and recognize your store easier. It also shows your professionalism.

  • Featured products and collections:

To effectively engage your visitors, I recommend showcasing a curated selection of your best-selling or newest products, along with strategically designed collections. By doing so, you encourage your visitors to explore your offerings and increase the likelihood of conversions by guiding customers toward items that resonate with their interests.

You should name your feature product

Give a CTA button to boost conversion rate

  • Brand core featured:

You can show to customers  what materials you are using for your product different from others’ stores, how you pack your products, etc. Customers definitely care about your product quality and service.

  • Testimonial

Testimonials will help you to increase your customer trust on your product. This could rocket your conversion rate than ever.

PageFlyRichard_4-1681866674665.png

Your testimonials can be design different.

  • Brand storytelling at the end of the homepage:

In the end, I believe customers will be intrigued by the story behind your brand. To capture their interest, I suggest featuring your brand's identity and some background information at the bottom of the page. By utilizing a mix of text, images, and videos, you can foster an emotional connection with your visitors and boost brand loyalty.

You can design your own brand story and how it appeals to your homepage

Additionally, with Mother's Day 2023 fast approaching, also ranked as the third most significant holiday following Black Friday and Christmas, it is an opportune time to consider some compelling concepts for your business to take full advantage on this occasion.

Use colors palette associated with Mother’s Day

This kind of change makes your store more welcoming. You can refer to these pairs of colors:

  • Pastel Pink and Green: This color palette is soft, delicate, and feminine, making it a popular choice for Mother's Day. It includes shades of light pink, blush, and pale green, which evoke feelings of tenderness, love, and springtime.
  • Red and White: This classic color combination is timeless and elegant, and it's often used to symbolize the love and appreciation we have for our mothers. It's a bold and impactful color palette that can be used to create a variety of different designs.
  • Lilac and Light Blue: This color palette is soft and soothing, with shades of pale purple and blue that are reminiscent of springtime flowers and clear skies. It's a calming and peaceful color palette that's perfect for creating a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere on Mother's Day.

Offer special discounts

Create special deals during Mother’s Day event like bundle or 1+1 offer is one of the best ways to boost your sales. You can highlight them on your homepage to be visible as soon as visitors reach your page and make it easy to navigate through your product offerings.

Create gift guides or a special section with product recommendations.

Creating gift guides or a product recommendation section can help increase engagement and sales on your Mother's Day landing page. By organizing products by categories and themes, you can make it easier for shoppers to find the perfect gift for their mothers. Including product descriptions, images, and customer reviews can also help improve the shopping experience and boost conversion rates.

So if you have more things to ask, feel free to talk to me in the Shopify Community.
