Would be happy to get any feedback that will help the store look more professional and generate more sales.

Product feedback is welcome as well but I'm going to be posting a lot more soon.

Hey @FandomFlair!

I really like the combination of the primary colour with the logo in the header - those colours really compliment each other to give a professional look. Here are some things that you can considering changing:

1) On my display, when I first opened your store and saw the hero section, I only saw the 5 pictures of Taylor Swift (and not the 'collection' button below, had to scroll for that). This immediately made me think that the website was solely dedicated to her. First impressions are extremely important, and hence I'd consider including several of the artists that you have listed in your header (not just Taylor).

2) In the hero section, potentially consider adding a heading that communicates to visitors exactly what you're about (like heading - Express your fandom with flair, subheading - Unique collectibles for every fan, or something like that).

3) I like the infinite carousels, but potentially consider centring them on the page since it appears that most other elements are as such

4) I wouldn't necessarily list every category of product on the front page, but rather have a section that lists out in a stylish way the types of products that you sell in a listicle format, and then these headings can link to their respective page. If you want to keep all of the carousels on the home page, then consider having this listicle section before all of the carousels, and upon clicking on a section - say, 'home goods' - the page scrolls down to the home goods section.

Hope that helps.

Cheers, Jack.

Hi @FandomFlair

Garcia from the landing page builder app PageFly here!

Regarding your new store, congratulations! I have some suggestions that might help your store look more professional and increase your conversion rate (CRO).

1. Make the "Add to Cart" button stand out

Your "Add to Cart" button isn't highlighted at the moment. Try using color, hover, and other effects to make your button and button text stand out more.

A user is presented with a variety of content when they visit a product details page, including banner adverts, cross-sells, and product images and descriptions. Confusion and anger may ensue if the main "Add to Cart" button is missed amid this deluge of information.

2. Add an "About Us" page

I've noticed that your website does not currently have a page that provides an answer to the query, "Who are you?" A 'About Us' page narrates the history of your company, including how and where it got its start and where it is now.

Something like this 'About Us' page might be added. This is the ideal chance to present your business to prospective customers and highlight the advantages of utilizing your goods or services.

3. Add a favicon to your site

In a sea of open tabs, users may quickly identify your website with the help of favicons. They also aid in consumers finding your website easily in their browser history.

As you can see, your website does not currently have a favicon. A favicon can be added like your logo, etc. Consumers who view your favicon more frequently are more likely to remember your logo when they encounter it again.

4. Adjust your homepage

Currently you have more than 10 sections on your homepage.  Studies show that  sections on homepage, on average, earn more engagement, higher rankings, and more shares than  the too long one.

What should be the proper sections? I recommend you to reduce the section to about 7 - 8 sections - the most important one on the homepage only, and I believe that it will reduce your churn rate and avoid customers leaving the store.

5. Make the most of the holiday season

For example, you can try to run these campaigns:

  • Exclusive Merchandise Drops: Offer exclusive BFCM merchandise related to popular idols or actors. Limited-time merchandise like autographed photos, collectibles, or special edition clothing can create a sense of urgency and exclusivity.
  • Fan Discounts: Provide special discounts or early access to fans who sign up for your newsletter or join a fan club. Rewarding loyal fans can drive excitement and build a sense of community.
  • Bundle Deals: Create bundles that feature a variety of merchandise, such as posters, T-shirts, and collectibles related to specific stars or idols. Bundle discounts can encourage fans to purchase more items at once.

And that's my opinion. I hope it increases your conversion rate.

Cheers!

Hi FandomFlair,

First of all, I do like the site and the color usage. 🙂 To be frank, my first impression upon entering the store was that I wasn't sure what you were selling! I also second Flexibot's opinion below, it seemed like a Taylor Swift-dedicated fan site and only seconds later I realized you have fan-based merch for sale. Here are several suggestions for improvement:

1. Clean banner notifying visitors exactly what your shop is about! It can be some graphics with icons of all the artists you have collections for.
2. Sections with larger feature images of best sellers. Here are some examples https://www.taylorstitch.com/
3. If you already have converting customers, ask your customers directly for product/page feedback. Find out where your customers are coming from with a post-purchase survey. (You can install one easily through the Shopify app store).

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Hey @FandomFlair.

Thanks for reaching out.

It looks like you have received really great feedback on this thread! Looking into your online store,  I noticed that you are using the announcement bar to welcome your visitors to your homepage and inform them of a free shipping offer. That is a great way to get your visitors browsing - another great way to grab your visitors attention is to add a discount code to the announcement as well.

I did want to bring to your attention that two of the slides in the slideshow are displaying the same image. What do you think about including slides that display different images to make each slide more unique? This can strengthen your brand by allowing you to showcase your products to your visitors as soon as they load into the store. For example, you could include your best sellers or favorite products as the slides.
