Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello Everyone,
My name is Sarah, and I recently joined the team here at Ablyn Fashion. I am currently working on driving up traffic and sales specifically from our online store and social media links. I was hoping to get your feedback on the store and what to change/improve and any helpful tips that you wish you may have had starting out. I didn't create the store myself; I just came onboard to an already created website I've had to try to tweak. Do you think it would need a full tear down and restructure or I can continue fixing as I go? I've always wanted to successfully create and manage an online store but have no experience. Your feedback would be of great value to me. Ablyn Fashion

Good day @AblynFashion I’ve got some feedback on your store that could hopefully be useful.
1) Get categories for trending products and best performing products. This helps draw the attention of store visitors to certain products in your stock.
2) Your social media pages do not seem to be provided and linked on the homepage. That should be changed.
3) Since you are looking to drive up more sales, I think a good idea would be to offer special discounts to the most deserving customers who have patronized a lot. This has a special effect as it makes them much happier to shop in your store. The Seal Subscriptions App can be of great help in this regard https://apps.shopify.com/seal-subscriptions
I hope you find these helpful Sarah!
Hi Sarah and @AblynFashion team,
This is Victor from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App and I would like to give my suggestions.
For this hero section, you can consider:
I noticed that you have product variants here (Black and Light Coral) but do not provide variant images accordingly.
This could interrupt the shopping experience and result in a bounce since customers’ expectation is to view the product in the chosen color.
My suggestion is to check and fix this. You should also check all buttons or CTAs on your site to avoid similar issues.
Furthermore, for the upcoming Valentine's Day, will you run any campaigns? Here are some promotion ideas for your campaigns, I hope they will be useful for you.
Personalize Your Offer for Valentine's Day
Gift-giving is almost like a ritual on Valentine’s day. You can make the most out of it by offering products around Valentine's theme.
You have products that people buy on Valentine’s Day so give them a little touch of love. You can also curate special Valentine's Day offers like “two for one” or “buy one, get one” deals.
Mention Your Delivery Time & Rates Clearly
Delivery time is one of those things that can make or break your business. And if it’s some holiday, buyers take the delivery dates too seriously.
To convert these visitors into potential buyers, mention your delivery dates clearly across your website, app, and emails. Also, specify the last date to place an order to reach on time.
Create Gift Guides
As mentioned earlier, Valentine’s Day is the season of gift-giving. But, when it comes to finding a perfect gift, people have what’s called a perpetual dilemma.
You can do this by making a Valentine's day gift guide. Break the guide into sections like this:
Valentine’s Day gifts for her, Best Valentine’s Day gifts under $xxx, etc.
Hope the feedback is helpful for you. Let me know if you have any questions!
Best of Luck,
– Victor | PageFly Team
