Feedback for your online store from the community
I love that Shopify FINALLY added merge customers but... you can only do two profiles at once!! I've been using Shopify for several years now. I have some customers with 10 entries that I would love to be able to merge without doing two at a time! Please add this feature!!!

Thanks for taking the time to write this feedback. Since it's currently not possible to merge more than two customer profiles at a time, I'd like to take note of this suggestion and share it with our platform development team. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our platform and I can see how this can positively affect your workflow. While it's not an immediate solution, we'll take this into consideration when we release platform updates. If we end up introducing this feature, we'll publish it on our changelog so feel free to keep an eye on that page!

Hi Summer, I've followed multiple Shopify articles, as well as other articles and videos, and I do not have Merge Profiles as an option on any customers. Is this limited to certain access or has it been removed recently?

The ability to merge customer profiles is available in all stores, however, you may not be seeing it due to the permissions in your account. If you're a staff member in a store, your permissions may be limited and may not include this function. I suggest reaching out to the account owner to review your account permissions. You may pass along this guide if they need help adjusting the permissions.
If you're the account owner and you don't have the option to merge customer profiles, we'll need to take a look at your account and investigate. If this is the case, you may visit https://bit.ly/3cJkx8V and log into your account to create a support request. Please note you'll have to select the topic of concern before you can find the options to reach out to our support team and you'll find them below the help articles that are presented to you.
