Hello @weerdothings,

My name is Tobias from Delm Delivery Date Estimator.

I have taken a look at your store and have some feedback for you. If my suggestions are helpful, please let me know by clicking the "like" button on my post.

  1. The fixed "World wide shipping" bar at the bottom can be distracting and the information is already included in your header bar.
  2. Improving your header navigation items can be beneficial for customers. Consider adding deeper links to collections to give customers a better understanding of your inventory.
  3. Given that you only sell a small variety of products, you might consider removing filter and sorting options in collections.
  4. The font used for headlines and the "Add to Cart" button may be hard to read, consider changing to a more legible font.
  5. The footer section on desktop looks strange, with the heading "Help!" and no items underneath.
  6. Your About Us page could use some improvement to make it more interesting.
  7. The delivery time of 1-3 weeks may be slow for some customers.
  8. Your collection pages are missing headlines.
  9. In addition to headlines, you may also want to consider adding more content to your collection pages.

Kind regards

Hi Robin from @weerdothings,

I’m Victor from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.

I have just taken a quick look at your website and here are some plus points:

  • Have a clear search icon
  • Have a favicon for your store: This makes your store look unique and professional.

  • Have a sticky header: This will help customers navigate from every part of the homepage to any page of your store more conveniently.

That being said, here are some suggestions for your store to increase the conversion rate:

1. Change the hero banner at the top of the homepage

The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first.

PageFlyVictor_6-1675218658738.png

Unfortunately, the current banner is not of high quality. This might result in a high bounce rate so please recheck it asap.

2. CTA buttons

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.

With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, or a product page, etc.

PageFlyVictor_3-1675218492640.png

It’s such a loss when you missed a “Shop all” button on your banner. A CTA button here will urge visitors to make the purchase and it is a great way to optimize your home page.

And, please rest assured that all CTA buttons should have the same styling to boost the conversion rate.

3. Add a section about your brand story

A business can stand out with its brand story. A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more attractive.

4. Display one of those products on your homepage with ATC or Buy it now button

This helps increase the visibility of your product to the customers, and they would have more reasons to jump to the cart page.

5. Have social proof

I'd highly recommend you showcase Instagram pics as a section on your homepage so people can understand more about what you're selling.

6. Recheck footer

You should display your logo here instead.

Furthermore, for the upcoming Valentine's Day, will you run any campaigns? Here are some promotion ideas for your campaigns, I hope they will be useful for you.

1. Personalize Your Offer for Valentine's Day

Gift-giving is almost like a ritual on Valentine’s day. You can make the most out of it by offering products around Valentine's theme.

  • If you already have products that people buy on Valentine’s Day, give them a little touch of love. It doesn’t matter if you’re selling a digital or a physical product.
  • If you don’t have a physical product, you can still curate special Valentine's Day offers around your services that can be used on Valentine’s Day like “two for one” or “buy one, get one” deals.

2. Mention Your Delivery Time & Rates Clearly

Delivery time is one of those things that can make or break your business. And if it’s some holiday, buyers take the delivery dates too seriously. To convert these visitors into potential buyers, mention your delivery dates clearly across your website, app, and emails. Also, specify the last date to place an order to reach on time.

PageFlyVictor_2-1675218298061.png

3. Create Gift Guides

As mentioned earlier, Valentine’s Day is the season of gift-giving. But, when it comes to finding a perfect gift, people have what’s called a perpetual dilemma.

You can do this by making Valentine's day gift guide. Break the guide into sections based on gender, interests, or personality traits like this:

  • By Category: Valentine’s Day gifts for her/him, couples, teenagers
  • By Price Range: Best Valentine’s Day gift under $25, $50, $100
  • By Interest: Gift ideas for art lovers, dog lovers, and foodies

And that's my feedback! Hope it helps your business.

Cheers!

Hello @weerdothings ,

We are OneCommerce - an eCommerce Solution platform.

We had a look at your website and see you did a great job with all the images, colors, layout.. However, according to the PageSpeed Insights report, the site has a quite low performance (Desktop: 72; Mobile: 32)

Screen Shot 2023-02-01 at 09.50.37.png

  1. To improve your page speed, you may consider to:
  • Compress images
  • Minimize HTTP requests
  • Optimize code: reduce or remove unnecessary code
  • Enable lazy loading

2. For designs improvement, we recommend few things below:

Screen Shot 2023-02-01 at 09.56.49.png

  • You may want to remove the "worldwide shipping" bar at the bottom since you already include this information in your head bar.
  • Consider to change the font text, it's cute but may hard to read.
  • You can write your product description, product title based on SEO standards to get more visitors.
  • We highly recommend you to keep only the most valuable and best reviews for your store. Put all the reviews on your site may distract the customers and make site running low.

3. Promotion for Special Days:

It's about time for Valentine Day, consider to run some promotions on your store.

Hope we can help you with these informations. Please don't be hesitate to contact us if you need any further support.

If you find our reply is useful, please let us know by clicking the Like button or mark this as Accepted Solution, it means a lot to us.

Hi @weerdothings ,

This is Victor from PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder. I'd love to give you my suggestions about your online store.

Here are my suggestions for the Collection page which will likely increase the chances of getting sales and optimize conversion rates for your store.

Collection page

1. Missing image on the All Collections page

I spot that the image in this page is missing, I think you should double check it.

PageFlyVictor_0-1675246786899.png

2. Having a menu panel to help users quickly redirect to other collections.

I’ve noticed that you already have a method to show the category lists by clicking on the “Hamburger” icon.

PageFlyVictor_1-1675246786920.png

However, I want to suggest a way that will save the customers’ time and make them less confused to find other categories as well.

PageFlyVictor_2-1675246786655.png

You can check the example below:

PageFlyVictor_3-1675246786883.png

3. Add pertinent information to the page

Add a little bit of copy to the collection header, especially if there is something customers need to know about the collections. This practice is good for SEO keywords so search engines can understand the page and display it higher when people search for those terms.

PageFlyVictor_4-1675246786614.png

4. Display a secondary thumbnail on hover

Presenting a secondary thumbnail on hover is an effective way to provide extra visual information without cluttering list items.

For example:

PageFlyVictor_5-1675246786954.gif

5. Include user reviews

User reviews are critical to users’ purchasing decisions. If the previous customers have some reviews on your products ( like star reviews for instance), you should add it underneath those products. Let’s check this reference:

PageFlyVictor_6-1675246786867.png

6. Remove the grey background

Instead of using the color grey, you can try to switch to the transparent background.

PageFlyVictor_7-1675246786627.png

You can check this example here:

PageFlyVictor_8-1675246786744.png

Alternatively, you can set up when users hover to the products, it will highlight itself with the shadow effect underneath. You can check this example below:

Hello @weerdothings,

Greetings! I am Gina from the flareAI app.

I have taken a look at your store.

The design is unique and a good collection. Below are a few suggestions for improvement.

1. Add sections like 'Featured Collection', 'Hot Sellers' to help keep customers updated on new products and give exposure to new collections.
2. Add good product descriptions on product pages for better SEO.
The product description should provide visitors with important information about the features and benefits of the product so they are motivated to buy.
Checked Socks - Weerdo Things 2023-02-03 05-44-36.png
3. A FAQ would be useful to provide quick information to help customers make a purchasing decision and also to reduce the time your employees need to answer simple questions.
4. Try to maintain the same image size while listing all products.
Products - Weerdo Things 2023-02-03 05-45-27.png
5. Add more payment options other than PayPal in the checkout which will be convenient for the customer to purchase products.

6. Make About Us more personal, likable, and believable so that, your prospects are more likely to be comfortable buying from you.
7. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.

8. Use blogging
Blogging is a great technique to increase the traffic and ranking of your website. If you blog consistently with high-quality content over a long period, your site will rank higher for specific keywords or topics.
9. Add CTA button like Shop Now, Buy Now in the Home page header banner or slideshow
The Call To Action(CTA) is a key element on a webpage, acting as a signpost that lets the user know what to do next. Without a clear CTA, the user may not know the next steps to take to purchase a product or sign up for a newsletter and is likely to leave the site without accomplishing their task.

Hope this helps.
