Hey guys, we're looking for some feedback on our overall user experience to increase our conversion rate. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Thanks for your feedback. Getting people to the website is not our biggest
issue, it's that we seem to lose a lot of customers that add to the cart
who don't end up purchasing. We'd like to try and figure out why.

HI @EquiZone 

Just a quick feedback. I added some boots to the cart, and the first impression was that the slideout cart was too busy. There is too much space occupied to buy gift products. But the worst part for me was that I couldn't add any of those gifts, I clicked but it resets and did not add to the cart. 

Maybe this is happening just to me but if most of the users get this, the could leave the site at that point.

1. Optimize your hero banner

  • Clarity is key: Right now, the banner's text and button blend in, making them hard to read. Let's increase the contrast between text and background, or adjust the text color for better readability.
  • Call to action, activate!: Your current button isn't quite beckoning shoppers in. Let's revamp the button's design and message to make it a clear and enticing call to action.

2. Add heading for the section below the hero banner

Consider adding a clear and concise heading below the banner, like "Best Sellers," to guide visitors and pique their interest.

3. Show social feeds on homepage

Integrate your social media feeds directly onto the homepage to build trust and engagement with potential customers.

4. Improve size chart on each product page

The current size chart leads to another page with multiple brands, potentially confusing customers and leading them away from your product page.

Consider creating dedicated size charts for each product, ideally opening in a popup or directly on the page. This minimizes distractions and keeps customers focused on buying!

5. Improve Valentine content

You're already prepping for Valentine's Day, which is awesome! Here are some expert tips to help your store truly shine during this romantic season:

  • Countdown Captivation: Implement a countdown timer for limited-time offers, sales, or scarce products. This creates a sense of urgency and encourages immediate action.
  • Gift Guide Guru: Craft a dedicated Valentine's Day gift guide with sections like "For Him & Her," "Romantic Gifts," "Experience Gifts," and "Budget-Friendly Finds." Cater to different tastes and budgets to attract a wider audience.
  • Last-Minute Lovebirds: Offer express shipping or same-day delivery for last-minute shoppers. You can also highlight gift cards or digital products for instant purchase and gifting.

P.S. Don't forget to A/B test these changes to see what resonates best with your audience!

Your site looks nicely done and seems like you have a good niche. People abandon carts for various reasons: they can be unsure about the credibility of your site, or find a cheaper alternative elsewhere. For starters, I would make sure the entire site is professionally presented and include aspects that improve consumer confidence such as including an Instagram feed, and making sure there are more product reviews available. Adding CTA preview can also improve the overall user experience. 

In addition, I thought you might want to make sure that people can read the words clearly on your banner. This banner style also doesn't seem to match the style of your entire site.

1. Add a buy now button in the product catalog so the customers can easily purchase it from here.

2. The reviews are quite scattered right now, you can make use of any app available to show beautiful reviews.

3. The text on promotional banner is not readable, this can be improved and a buy now button can be add
