How do I make my collection list full width on my homepage?

Hello, 

I am looking for help to make my collection list full width on my homepage. My store is the debut theme. 

I currently have 2 collection tiles and I would like them to be full width. I want to keep the current gap between the two tiles. Also, ideally, I would like the height to be smaller like I have mapped in the image below.
