How to add the affiliate disclosure statement when you do not have the add block option under footer

Hello kindly help, i wanted to add the affiliate disclosure statement but i ca not see the add block option under my footer

Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize. In the theme editor, scroll down to the footer section. If there’s no “Add block” button, you might be using a theme that limits customization. 
Solution: Click on “Theme Settings” > “Custom CSS” (if available) Or, go to “Actions” > “Edit Code” > open footer.liquid and manually add your affiliate text near the closing </footer> tag.
