Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello,
I'm preparing to move to shopify from another platform.
I'm using the Excel bulk upload method to migrate my products, and I've entered the html code of my old product descriptions into Excel to create products on Shopify.
That being said, the image URLs in the description are also still using the CDN URLs provided by the old platform, and since we will no longer be using that platform once the platform migration is complete, I would like to change all image URLs to the CDN URLs provided by Shopify.
Is there an easy way to make this change?
Thanks.
To update the image URLs in your product descriptions to Shopify's CDN URLs, you’ll need to do this in bulk. One way to handle it is by using a find-and-replace feature in Excel. Replace the old CDN URLs with the new Shopify CDN URLs in your Excel file before uploading it.
Alternatively, if you have many URLs to update, consider using a bulk URL update tool or a script to automate this process. After making these updates, you can then import your revised file into Shopify.
If this fixed your issue, likes and accepting as a solution are highly appreciated.
