Hi @Greenswift  Thank you for reaching out with your query. Adding customer feedback to your online store's footer is an excellent way to build trust and enhance user experience. Below are the steps to integrate customer feedback into your footer effectively:

 

  1. Navigate to the Shopify admin panel.
  2. Go to the “Online Store” section and click on “Themes.”
  3. Click on the “Customize” button of your current theme.
  4. In the customization panel, navigate to the “Footer” section.
  5. Add a new section or block if your theme supports it, specifically for testimonials or feedback.
  6. If your theme doesn’t support adding new blocks directly, you may need to edit the footer.liquid file in the “Edit Code” section under the “Actions” drop-down.
  7. Add static feedback by directly typing them into the new block. Alternatively, you can use dynamic content if you have an app or script that displays customer reviews.
  8. Save your changes and preview your store to ensure the feedback is displayed as desired.

 

In addition to adding feedback, you can significantly boost your sales and customer satisfaction by using our Shopify app. The app displays available discounts directly on the cart page, ensuring customers are aware of potential savings before checkout. If you are already using a Shopify Theme, here is how you can create a feedback section, or say, Testimonials section in your Theme:

Step 1: In the theme editor, look for the option to add a new section. This is usually found on the left sidebar. Click on "Add section." Choose a Section Type:
Depending on your theme, you might see a list of available sections you can add. Look for a section labeled "Testimonials," "Quotes," or similar.
If your theme does not have a built-in testimonials section, you can use a "Custom HTML" or "Custom Liquid" section to manually add testimonials.


Step 2: Configure the Testimonials Section:
Once you've added the testimonials section, you can start adding individual testimonials.
Click on the newly added section to edit its content.
Typically, you can add a testimonial block for each customer review. Fill in the details like the customer's name, their review, and optionally their photo.


Step 3: Edit the section branding using Style and Customize:
Adjust the layout, style, and appearance settings as needed. Some themes offer options to change the background, text alignment, and other design aspects.
Preview the changes to ensure the testimonials look good on both desktop and mobile views.


Step 4: Save Changes:
Once you are satisfied with the testimonials section, click on "Save" to apply the changes to your theme.


Step 5: Publish:
If your theme is not already published, go back to the themes page and click "Actions" > "Publish" on your customized theme.

There are also some small tips that I would like to share with you:
Apps for Testimonials: If your theme does not support testimonials or if you need more advanced features, consider installing a testimonials app from the Shopify App Store. Some popular ones include "Loox," "Yotpo," and "Judge.me."
Manual Coding: For more control, you can add a testimonials section manually by editing the theme code. This involves modifying the .liquid files and adding custom CSS/HTML. Make sure to back up your theme before making any code changes.
