Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me, I've had my website for a round 2 years now, originally with go daddy then transferred to shopify.
I've had a few customers over the last few days when they go to my website they get a message saying my website is unsafe and comes up with this error. 😑
Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

If that 2nd a-record isn't listed in GoDaddy, then you won't need to worry about it.
For the 'www' CNAME record, I see that is showing from your screenshot.
Change that record from "roseella-designs.myshopify.com" to "shops.myshopify.com".

I should also add, that it comes up fine on my end and some people can access is but some can't 🤔
That is an error message associated with your SSL certificate.
This can happen if you're linking customers to a part of your website that isn't on Shopify.
It can also happen if your site doesn't have an SSL certificate activated. That doesn't seem to be the case though, as when I go to your website, I do see an SSL certificate issued.
One thing worth noting though is that your DNS records for the 'www' version of your domain, aren't set correctly.
See here: https://who.is/dns/roseelladesign.com.au
Your 'www' version of the site has an a-record (which shouldn't be there) -- you should only have the single a-record for the main domain (without the 'www'). Also, your CNAME record for 'www' should be changed to "shops.myshopify.com".
If you make the above changes, it should hopefully resolve the issue with your customers seeing issues with the SSL certificate. If customers keep reporting that issue, after making the above changes to your DNS records, then you'd want to reach out to Shopify's support team directly, for further help troubleshooting.

Thank you so much for your reply 😊
I've just gone onto the DNS records and tried to find the records that you've mentioned, but when I go there the other A record isn't there and there's heaps of other records 🫠 sorry I'm not a very tech savvy person.

Awesome thank you so much! I've just updated it now.
Is there a way I can have my domain transferred to shopify, so its all in the one place?
It is possible, but I would recommend keeping your domain with GoDaddy (that's who I have all of my own domains through). If you ever leave Shopify, then you won't need to transfer the domain again. There's absolutely no harm in keeping the domain with GoDaddy.
