How to improve my German online store before launch?

Hello dear community, I want to launch my store soon, it's not quite ready yet (high quality product images are still missing, so the quality of my product photos is relatively poor) and now I would kindly ask for feedback. Congrats on your new business. Getting sales will be a long journey needs a lot of technical efforts, along with marketing strategy and store designs. We had a look at your store site and saw how much effort you put in. Here is only a few suggestions we think you should take to improve your store site and boost your sales.

1. CTA buttons:

- It's great to see you added a hero banner and promotion campaign, it'd be much better if you can add a CTA button on your banner and add hover effect to highlight it, make it more visible and clickable.

2. Testimonials:

- Reviews play a crucial part when it comes to shopping online, people tend to make purchase for store that has many reviews, even it include good or bad reviews. You can use third - party app to import reviews and design how they look.

3. Product page:

- Highlight your price, make it bigger to attract your customers. You can include the star rate and reviews next to the price.

- Highlight CTA buttons to make it more visible and clickable. 

4. Site speed:

Your site include many videos and images, with high quality, this may slow down the site speed, we suggest you use compressing tool to optimize the image files. 

Furthermore, you can try to optimize theme code, remove any unnecessary codes or apps to improve the speed. If can, hire an expert to do the optimization for you.

Here are my suggestions for the Homepage & Product page which will likely increase the chances of getting sales and optimize conversion rates for your store.

Homepage

1. Highlight the CTA buttons

Because the background video has a light tone, the same as your CTAs, so I suggest you can highlight it by increasing the font size and make it bold.

2. Include customers testimonials with image

You can try to feature your customers' images in this section - it can gain more trust from your upcoming customers. Also, I suggest you should add a title for this section to clearly indicate that this is the section for customer testimonials. 

3. Site speed

When I load your homepage, a black screen appear first and then the content will be loaded. Because your page have many large images and videos, so I suggest you should reduce its size to make the loading speed better.

Pagespeed is extremely crucial for both buyer’s experience and Google ranking, so you could consider Shopify themes made to help you boost Google pagespeed score for your store such as Blum, Refresh, Dawn…

Product page

1. Add return policy below the product

This is a very crucial part for customers - they will definitely want to know your return policy for the products if you made a purchase.

2. Use high quality product images

I check that some of your product images are of low quality. You should try to upgrade its quality since this is the first thing that will catch users' eyes.

The product images are still partially low quality, I will get better ones before my store goes live.

My page speed could be really better, i´ve optimized the images, but i am missing the possibility to compress videos, do you have a suggestion for me?

Hi, i have compressed my videos with HandBrake, they are a lot smaller now, hope this improves my speed... best regards!
