Also optimisation based on my audience interests, I have been researching to improve these issues but I am unsure where to start or what is just sales patter.....? My store and has had some sales however it is sporadic.

I would really appreciate any shop critiques to take a look at my page www.rudgaterooster.co.uk and constructively comment on what needs improving, In addition I would also encourage others to please go take a look at my products to see if anything interests you and let me know why/why not! Many thanks Tim

Hi @tim16cs

Thanks for reaching out to the community. This is MooseDesk - All-in-one Shopify Ticketing System App

Congrats on your store! It looks good. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this.

However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

1. SEO

Since you want us to look at SEO, I have a quick SEO check for you. So currently it does not acquire much organic traffic. This happen because your store only has 3 blog posts which are quite less than it needs to rank better. Normally, about 3 blogs/week would create exposure in about 3 months and by then you start having organic traffic (Still depends on your keyword plan but it's the best scenario).

- Other than that, I did a quick check on a famous store in the same business area and find some keywords that would help you

2. Store UIUX

- Better hero section with wide banner

Here's a reference for you:

- Add more section for example: Featured Products, your winning product, so customers can browse through your offerings.

- Have a sticky navigation bar: When we scroll down to the bottom of the page, we have to scroll up just to enter another page => by having a sticky menu or a "Go Up" button, the customers would be more likely to stay, in turn the chance of buying is higher.

- Add a section that show trust badge like this to make the store looks even more trustworthy

- You haven't had a "Support button":

So a very important in creating great user/customer experience is designing a place where customers can easily ask about your product or feedback their experience.

Example:

Currently your store has not had Contact Us page or a support widget. and it might be a pain point in shopping online cause there's nowhere to ask and receiver answer.

If you want to find a FREE option for that, MooseDesk is a good choice. It's a customer service app/ticketing system/FAQ page generator that could help you do all that. Of course, free-of-charge as of now:

Hi @tim16cs,

This is Kate at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app

First of all, your store looks stunning, and I can tell you've put in a lot of effort. I understand that experiencing low sales can be frustrating. From my CRO expertise, I’d love to give you my suggestions as hereby:

1. Target Your Potential Customers

First, for your question, I believe it’s best to start by researching the characteristics of your expected customers. They consist of:

  • Demographic (Age, Career, Gender)
  • Taste in coffee
  • Habits when having coffee

2. Create An Impactful Brand Identity Based On Customer Persona

Next, conversion rates can be increased by attracting and holding the attention of your targeted audiences. It is very related to how you design your online store with:

  • Type font
  • Color scheme
  • Image layout
  • Symbols and Icons

Below are some styles that you can consider:

  • Natural and Friendly

  • Elegant and Aesthetic
