I have 1,000 session but 0 conversions or even added to carts.

I have been running Facebook ads for a while and I'm sure I'm targeting the right people but I have 0 conversions in any category. I've looked around and I'm concerned it boils down to selling expensive produts but not having the images nor site to match it. I am not sure though, please provide me with some feedback on what is possibly preventing me from  getting sales.

From my Conversion Rate Optimization expertise, I would like to give you some advice to make your store more stunning & help you better convert.

 

1. Invest more for the hero banner of homepage

The hero banner in the homepage is an important touchpoint to impress your customers when they first land on the site. As I can notice now, the current banner may cause visitors confusing feelings, due to those reasons:

  • Lack of bespoke image of what products you are selling
  • Lack of heading & subheading text describe your brands and your core products
  • Lack of Call to Action button to guide customers what to do next

Invest more on the hero image and content to attract visitors at the first glance & add a level of professionalism.

2. Improve main menu bar

Your current menu bar is very small to notice and disappear when the users scroll down the site. You should expand the menu so that it's highly visible and also make it sticky to the top of the page.

By ensuring that users can easily navigate, sticky menus can help keep users engaged with your content. They're more likely to explore different sections of your site if they can easily access the menu at any point, potentially increasing the time they spend on your site.

3. Make an integrated styling for the site

Use a unified font, size & other styling for heading, subheading & paragraph to display your content. It would increase the professionalism & UI of the site.

4. Add About Us section

We cater to humanistic shoppers, who will seek out who is BEHIND the product, and why they should buy from you. So consider adding an About Us section to introduce your brand & highlight how you differentiate from other competitors.

5. Optimize your product description display

Your product description is very lengthy. Consider compressing it into accordions / content tab (collapsible content tabs) so that your product pages look better-structured & the shoppers' experience is enhanced.

Your site looks like every scam site on the internet and lacks credibility and trust:

 

  • Layout/design looks cookie-cutter and unprofessional - especially for a jewelry site
  • Testimonials look fake
  • Photo quality is poor
  • No real social presence to the brand
  • No address or phone number
  • No person associated with it
  • The contact email is a gmail address
  • There's an Altair Gold publicly traded company and it looks like the site could be trying to exploit the brand name
  • Domain is recently registered and private
  • No Google Business Profile
  • No Third-Party Reviews

 

There are literally hundreds of thousands of places to buy jewelry on the internet.
Ask yourself, why would they pick this one?

Google Business Profile is how you get your business to show up in Google Search. Google Merchant Center is how you get your products to show up in Google Shopping (both paid and organic listings).

Products don't go on Google Business, your Business Details do. There's lots of videos available to be able to help you out. Filters are very important for customers to identify the correct product from the huge catalog. So, you should look for advanced filter options for your store. Other significant observations for store optimization are as follows:

 

  1. Incentivise customers with irresistible offers that boost your checkout rate by 25%+.
  2. Get yourself a professional logo designed. This will add brand value to your store.
  3. Make sure the free shipping top band is visible on all the pages.
  4. Make sure your social media pages open at the new tab instead of the same tab. This will ensure your customers stay on your website while looking at your social presence.
  5. You can add Sitemap on the site footer, again these also help in building search engine content.
  6. Add a Contact Us page, add email address, phone number, and contact form for the visitors.
  7. Taking someone to the cart is a challenge. So to make them buy from your site, add a longer product description as it leads to better SEO ranking in Google search. Ref article from Shopify 
  8. Make sure the newsletter section is available on all the pages of the website.
  9. Put "Secured and trusted checkout with" in your footer.
