I have had over 2000 visitors to my store but only have 10 sales!!!

I had 10 sales right after I put paid ad up a week back and then later this week I changed things up a bit with my ads like schedule and times so I don't waste too much money and make a profit instead. This weekend I haven't gotten any sales at all... I spend over $100 already. I don't know whether it's because of the store's layout or something else. I also noticed I am getting a lot of direct traffic but it says N/A for the source, I don't know if its bots that are crawling to my store now. Also, I haven't gotten any add to cart this weekend, only one add to cart compared to more than 30 add to cart last weekend. Please help me, what am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated! Hi @TrxyexoI'm Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly Landing Page Builder. I have just spent some time experiencing your store and I have some feedback on your store layout for you.

1. Homepage


- The menu on the header is unsymmetrical (the logo is slightly skewed on the right). You can move the logo up so the logo is on one line and the menu is on another line, or divide the parameters equally on two sides of the logo.



- I think that the background images are blurred, you should use higher resolution ones on this section (the same to the next sections).


- In this section, you should have a 1x3 layout, which means there 3 items in a row without a black area like in the screenshot.

- Also, you can consider having BUY NOW buttons hereto call for visitors' action.

- On the Homepage, you should also add the ABOUT US and TESTIMONIAL sections, which makes the store look more professional and increases trust. 

2. Product page


- The product page looks great with very informative sections. 

- I would only recommend you adding more images that have real people using the product. This will create a sense that the store looks more "human" and also increase the trust.

Sorry to hear about your ad frustrations. I've taken a look at your store and I have some feedback for you.


First, I think you've got the right idea with offering trending products, it's what we recommend. The downside of course to trending products is that you have to know when the trend is done/dying and when to move onto your next product. I'd take a look at each one of your products and make sure they are still trending. A good product choice should have these qualities:

  1. High demand. Look for "problem fixing products".
  2. Not easily accessible. Look for products that are not available in stores or online through big retailers or Amazon.
  3. Popular. Look for trending products.
  4. Good profit margin. We recommend at least 3x what the product costs you.

The next thing I'll touch on are your color choices. You'll notice that the white font for Home, Products, Contact Us, etc. work on the homepage banner but when you go to the products page, it's very hard to read against the ight purple.

I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?

Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.

Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.
